Enfeeble maps are pretty much impossible, but blue maps aren't too bad, trivial at most.

Also to note, I did a Mountain Ledge map with varied monsters last night and the flicker guys that were there 2 shot me through my shield (after killing my totems in 1-2 flickers)


I freaking HATE flicker monsters with a passion! My god they are the absolute worst monsters to fight against I swear. Is there any way to reliably fight them using this build? They are literally the only mobs that kill me at this point :(
stay off screen and plant totems off screen...if u can throw a conversion trap.

Hi , I love this build I just have a question,
For hardcore do you recommend using dual wands or wand + spirit shield (for the ES)?
Also, on the bandit quests, do I help Kaitryn or kill him?

temporal chain helps against archers and flickers to an extent
On your Skull Bite Imbued Wand, I see that you only have Spell Totem gem on it and no support gems. When you cast that second totem on the Skull Bite wand, do the support gems from your Hide Ornate armor apply to it?

Also, I was wondering, how much ES would be considered good at around level 60 to survive MOST mobs/elite packs on Hardcore?

Currently have a little under 4k ES. Stuff still manages to 1 shot me now and then (corpse explosions)

I don't really know what I can do to improve my character further. New wands would be nice, but everything is so painful to socket.. Currently trying to get my ubersexy new body to a 6S so I can try and start linking.. currently over 40 orbs down, and 4S is the best I have gotten so farm.

Temp Chains curse maps are the worse for me imo. I can do any other map, but just not that.

2 questsions:

1. im at lvl 61 now and it was easy as pie to grind from 50 till now.
Now im struggling alil in act 2 mericless.
is this build viable for endgame maps n stuff?...

2. on first page u wrote on build description to use GMP x2 (10 icespears)
but for which build do u mean to use that gmp x2 because there are so many builds on
your guide. cant figure out where to put that x2 GMP and how that armor should be linked
then...

maybe i miss something in whole conversation, but r u comparing pure high lvl curse vs combination of lowlvl+aoesupport? why not lowlvl+aoe vs highlvl+manacost? e.g. for "Elemental Weakness":

lowlvl + aoe:
mana cost: 30*150% = 45
duration: 9s
radius: +50%
% lowered resist: 30

lvl 11 + decrease cost lvl 11:
mana cost: 60*80% = 48
duration: 10s
radius: +50%
% lowered resist: 40

as it's stated in first post "mob's taking more damage from your curses instead of you doing more dmg" and i'm agree on that. in fact, 10% gain in elemental resist is a huge thing. lets say mob have 75 elemental res, u'r doing 100 dmg:

without curse:
100 * (1 - 75%) = 25 real dmg

lvl 1 curse:
100 * (1 - (75% - 30%)) = 100 * (1 - 45%) = 55 real dmg

lvl 11 curse:
100 * (1 - (75% - 40%)) = 100 * (1 - 35%) = 65 real dmg

55dmg vs 65dmg
(65-55)/55= 18% pure dps increase for just 3 mana (6% increase)

and things will go better and better since leveling ur gems will increase %lowered resist and radius (cost will stay almost the same).

did anyone tried already "+add lightning dmg" gem? i tried to bring some numbers and it seems its dmg is to low to apply shock for at lest 1 sec
