No, dont do both its pointless waste of damage.

my own thoughts: best endgame armor with very nice manareg and mana gear would be the armor that gives you power chrages for crits (Voll's Protector)

I am running near exact classic build as yours at level 46 atm. I just picked dual curse keystone early and using the 35% run speed unique boots while at max. health instead.

Does your new updates state that the "classic" build is inferior (playing mostly solo, but I do play in a pt once in a while) or just another good alternative for a similar build? I am drunk atm so my perception isn't at best

Where does the dex come from in this build? How do I use traps/frostbite etc? Right now I'm only level 25 but I haven't hit a single dex node and I just don't see how he's getting dex

You can augment dex through items, but in this build there are a few +30 dex nodes later on in the build. I believe there is 2 +30 nodes for Dex and Str in this build, unless he changed it.

For Normal, Cruel, Ruthless, and Merciless- how should I deal with the bandits? Should I just flat out kill them all for the skill point, or side with a specific bandit?

put random traps at the beginning and see if you can catch them
if that doesnt work just use totems and win
