[Strongest Solo Variation: Projectile Madness Spectres] LMP/GMP Ice Spear 2x Totem 2x Curse 3x Traps

ok ty, but i want maxx dps. what i need to use ?

first, i just wanna say this build rox! im really having fun using it. there's just one thing that im wondering about and I wanna know if you guys are experiencing the same thing..

when in party, i rarely get any rares and im thinking the loot system prioritizes the ones that deals more damage and obviously I dont. >_<

IF you truly wanna max out the dps on fire trap, I'd recommend getting a shield with +2 lvl to fire gems on it, then experimenting a little with the 2 support gems you can put in there as I'm not completely sure.

I think the loot system consider more than just damage, anyway, you can still toss ur traps to spike the damage.


The biggest problem I face is the need to rush in the meele to pick up an item before someone ninja pick it...

Had a unique reserved for me last week, rushed in, failed to pick in time and still died :-( Just hitted alt f4 for the night..

Do you guys think this is worth mirroring to use with double ice totems? Seems like with 139% crit chance you would be able to focus more on crit multi nodes in your tree and would the 100% spell damage be added to the critical multiplier calculation?

Doing that would mean you'll never be able to dual-wand or use power siphon.. I'd spend a mirror on a great 6l though.

Well what's the big benefit of using two wands instead of 1 wand/1 dagger? I could still power siphon as long as I had one.

I was working myself to that weird luxury Iron Will build, picking up lots of STR/HP on the tree - but still hadn't found any 5Ls to try it. Is Iron Will not recommended any more for 2Totem build as an alternative? :S /sadpanda

Not to start up the debate between LMP and GMP again but i just wanted to give my opinion of the two. I just got GMP so i know it will only get better.

LMP - Level 15 - Better damage, coverage is less - duh
GMP - Level 7 - Less damage, coverage is better - duh

LMP - Ok, i know that my LMP does more damage however it is more concentrated with a narrow cone. I feel as if i have to be a little more careful on placement as i do not have such a wide spread of the spears to control the mobs. I find myself trying to place them further apart to cover more area. I also find that i am taking less of the screen at a time to work on a single group of mobs.

GMP - My GMP however is less damage, but a much wider spread and i can take on bigger groupings of mobs. I like this better because i have a lot more control over the screen and can throw fire trap to different frozen groups. Three at group A and three at group B (2 fire trap gems). Even though the damage is less, i feel like i clear the map faster due to damaging more mobs at once on the screen. Now that i have the coverage due to the amount of spears, if needed, i can put them closer together for a more concentrated damage and still a have great spread. I don't feel like i have the best of both worlds with LMP.

Hope this makes sense and maybe this will help if you are on the fence about it. Opinions may vary, this is just how i feel about it, how i use them, etc.
