If you get the right colors on the chest its no problem. The build isnt fixed at one offensiv skill.

I dont stream anymore, tried it once, and my pc crashed during a boss fight. ;)

Added the Firestorm DPS calculation, because the Tooltip shows totally non-fitting garbage (sorry GGG, the value you calculating here doesn't include any information about the real damage output)

Please note: Dealing good damage with Firestorm will allways be a timing thingy ;)

Hey, this is a great guide and exactly the witch I'd like to play.

I am a little bit concerned about the shield, I can only find 5 Rathpith Globes in the shops right now, two with c/o of well over 2 exalt. I don't have this much currency. So here is my question:

Will I be able to farm lower level maps and piety for enough currency to afford a Rathpith Globe with a decent rare shield? I understand why it's an important part of the build, I just don't believe I will be able to buy one when I reach the level to start mapping.

Hey, so LOVE the guide. Love FireStorm and love me some Witch!

My question is, I know you said that we aren't limited to your spells but I was wondering if you could give me some advice if this isn't going to work or if it sounds okay.

I will be using 5/6L Firestorm in my chest as you use still same. But I want to try using FireTrap. either 3 or 4 link depending. FireTrap with Conc Effect and X/X ability or 3 link with Empower.

I also want to drop a Detonate Dead into Cast on Damage Taken. Since I can just keep detonate dead at level 1 because its a base 18% of HP detonated and levels aren't to substantial just bits of physical damage and I don't want to worry about getting them.

I will be running Reduced Mana Clarity, Temp, xAura (insert needed aura per map/situations)

My question is do you think the FireTrap (throw before Firestorm) and Detonate dead linked with CWDT will be okay?

Thanks again for the amazing guide. As I will be using traps and detonate my build will be slightly different but not much. Will post when I figure it out. This is all just thought right now I'm only level 20 so still have some testing but the idea in my head seems okay.

What you link to CWDT is totally up to you, really. I just choosed Endu/Enfee because they are both good allround skills.

Honestly, i think you have enough dps at lv20 q20 gemz, so adding more safety mechanism would be a better choice ;)

Hello , just wanted to ask , in your opinion between fireball and firestorm which is better? i know u use firestorm as your main attack but i just wanted to know the pros and cons between the two. Thanks in advance

Firestorm:
More like a dot, better scaleable (inc dura, conc effe, faster cast, added stuff), needs more timing

Fireball:
More likely burst damage/Shotgun, you ahve to go for LMP/GMP + Fireball + Faster Casting + Conc Eff. Thats like 4 off colors (need to go for ES/Arm chest hybrid i think), not sure how much currency you have, but its doable with Fireball as well. Easier to handle.

Also, fireball (From Seals) causing terrible lag sometimes, not sure how it is on selfcast.

Anyways, do you feel that this build is more viable now that we have a buffed firestorm? Thoughts on flameburst? (or w/e the new skill is called)


Also , why exactly do we use iron will? Sorry for stupid questions, I been playing phys builds all my PoE time!
