Dual 6 Link 97K LL Cyclone/22 LVL AA/EB/MoM/5k HP taking a break

I'm running this build at nemesis currently level 69, and I have pretty solid survivability with this build.

my DPS is still pretty shitty but I don't really have a good staff. right now i'm trying to craft an ilevel 79 staff rolling chaos on it.

it sure gets better with the right staff
Oh, I almost forgot I had this topic up, been quite busy recently and had other things in mind :)

As what comes for the base of the staff, it's not that big of a deal. I would propably take any staff, that has good crit chance base and decent physical damage, rest is just bonus. I played this build with my old staff, that had "only" 406 dps, which is almost half of this mirrored one's dps and the build did absolutely fine and reflect wasn't that big of deal then.

Maelström is really good base, because of that 18% block base, which would be ideal for hardcore and taking some block nodes.

I will TRY to record some videos next weekend, it's so damn annoying with my crappy pc, as the fps drops so low when record is on and the playing feels and looks so sloppy :/

And I will record only 5-6 player games if I record something, recording solo videos is absolutely nothing, because killing things is so fast then. Only thing that matters is, when you can manage all situations in a full party. Afterall, if you're planning on leveling your character to 95+, it's basically impossible to do it by soloing, unless you have thousands of exalts to spend on mapping.

Not to speak about 98+ level, as 98 level is only the halfway to 100. Last 2 levels if you were to solo to 100, it would require in worst case roughly 2000 exalts on plain maps alone + rolling them, unless you're running them white :)

So there's some small advice for anyone seeking to reach the 100 one day, find a group, don't solo your maps, make your character survive any situation in 6 player game.

This build doesn't rely on flasks, which is a failure if it had to, it doesn't rely on CWDT gem, never did. Only place where you need something other than heal potions is noregen maps, as it's not possible to run AA then.

The current EB+MoM setup seems to be the best version, what comes to survivability and damage.

Also one more advice; Do not try anything stupid on middle of the levels or in hardcore, don't try at all. I was stupid enough one day to test if I could run without Grace, as I got to use 22 level Arctic Armour, well that didn't end well, 20-30 Blackguard knights charged at once and that combined with a little bit of desync, there was resurrect button quite fast :)
And if you don't have 75% resistance vs Magaera in Crematorium, do not go there (atleast if it's 50% in ele weakness) ;)

Just some days ago changed the boots, happened to find them myself last week, kinda nice to wear already 3 items that I've found myself, actually 4, but cannot count Maligaro's in them, not so rare too see those drop :) Rainbows I was using earlier just for the reason, because I happened to have them from my Marauder.

Spoiler

Inspired by those, I started to make new ones, which will eventually be similiar to those, but 101-120% ES, as Energy Shield % scales better with Eldritch Battery than mana does, also not looking for IIQ. Haven't decided if I'll make them 3 resists or 43-50 Intelligence as last suffix, propably which one comes first, I'll keep it, both are okay :)

Spoiler

Also started to make new rings. The moment I regretted Blunt Trauma passive, thanks to the massive desync in full party games from the knockback it makes, it's kinda visible that the 50% Critical Chance is missing from that passive, so I decided to start craft 2x Diamond Rings, which are far far from ready, but eventually will replace the current rings, with kinda similiar stats, but looking for absolute perfection this time :)

Spoiler

Like said, far from ready rings :)

Altho the HP this build has, might sound a little low, it's "only" 5200 roughly, but actually that amount with 22 level Arctic Armour and Mana Shield with 900 mana after reserves is very tanky, where others struggle with the Evangelist explosions, Academy boss tornadoes, basically everything that's physical damage, this can stand still and take 0 damage from them. 50% Regen maps are not problem, because with the close to 400 mana regen / second is enough even then, as you will not be 24/7 moving anyways and stop to perform attacks every now and then. I think only once AA has dropped off on 50% regen map, that was when I was searching Shipyard for last 5 remaining monsters :)

It can facetank bosses, keep them permanently frozen, so they don't really cause a problem. -Resistance Piety and Magaera are another story. They're doable for sure yes, but it only needs one mistake and you're toast :)

Edited the first post to match the current statistic, when I dropped the damage a bit lower and gained truckload of survivability. Need to post the "main picture" again later when I get home with better graphics. Now she's looking like a "real" Valkyrie is supposed to look :p

Hello. I think you're at the point where you should also start looking for more manaregen from gear to run higher level Arctic Armour. It's very very good if you use Infernal Blow, because it's mostly fire damage, so reflect monsters reflect fire damage back at you, and it will be almost completely taken off by AA, if it's high level enough.

Even if the -damage taken numbers on the Arctic Armour might look small for many, who haven't used it before, but they are actually massive, because it's counted AFTER armour / resistance.

edit. Also happened to record 2 maps yesterday, didn't upload them yet, as my connection is quite bad for that. I'll try to put them up over the weekend.

This build does not need that silly skill, it's written in the first post :) All you need is Critical Weakness and auras :) Sometimes when there is screen full of charging monsters, Enduring Cry might be used, but it's not really needed, I dont really even remember when I had to use it.

And my Marauder was Dragon's Infernal Tank, that guide can be found from the Marauder subforum. My version of it was taken into fully defensive side, which made it basically immortal (except chaos damage, 3x Vaal smash and 2x Dominus's Smash)

And thanks Candy :)

Tell me what do you think about this set up? And for the armor almost same as yours but cloak of defiance for the energy shield and free 40% mind over matter and alpha howl and running these auras. Rainbowstride boots for the energy shield that will be turned into mana.
And of course alpha howl for the aura boost and can't be frozen is a nice plus.

Aura list:

hatred

Clarity

purity of elements (48% resist to all with aura boost from tree) Even more if used in alpha

haste

grace

determination (stacks really well with iron reflex+ grace)

This way you can run 6 auras all on your mana pool and have plenty left over after all auras on. Should be around 22k-25k armor with boost from aura's and with purity of elements giving 48% you can use almost any rings

for example with this set up you can get away with wearing 2 gifts from above which give

(30 to 35)% increased Global Critical Strike Chance
(10 to 15)% increased Light Radius
Creates Consecrated Ground on Critical Strike
(40 to 50)% increased Rarity of Items Dropped by enemies killed with a Critical Strike

Or any other ring that would work better

I will be working on this build i'm level 78 right now I need to get to level 91 for that tree

Let me know if there is anything you would change on the tree, I'm a bit new just started a little ago I don't have the best wealth yet I'm aiming for a cloak of defiance at least 5Linked and rainbowstridese at level 82 which is when i will have EB then i'll get blunt truama and finish up on life nodes.

Oh and what do you think about my staff so far?

Edit: Also, if you want you could use the convenant spidersilkrobe with blood magic to turn on clarity and run arctic armor on mana pool when not moving to much
