What about Nemesis(HC)?

Never thought of that. I wasn't planning on playing HC leagues or even HC in this game. After I reached my first goal, level 100, I just wanted to try and plan builds and stuff that is new and I cannot think of better place to do it than standard :)

But why not, if you can get similiar gear. But reflects are still a problem, I'm currently working on that. Maybe it gets better if I can find chest like my old, Saintly Chainmail also, but it was 1700 Armour / 250 ES. It would grant like 1/3 more armour what I have currently from gear.
Hi Juhazzz, Im going to start playing Poe again played before nad had a 85 ek shadow, but wanna play on the new domination league, would this build work well for sofcore?

Also I'm starting from scratch and You wrote that it's a very expensive build but everyone else Is running the typical spectral throw build and this one sticks out abit and your guide is very detailed and well done so I feel like this is what I wanna roll with

Was also wondering if you could add a few guidelines for early gemming, what I should aim to link first and what gems I should try to obtain first if thats not to much to ask.

Anyway a really well made and respectful guide

Hope to hear from you

Have a nice evening everyone.

Edit: Was also wondering abit more about when I levelled, Should I try to go for a two handed staff or what weapon do you suggest?, Sorry If its obvious areadly from somewhere else incase i've missed it.

Hello. Thanks for the kind words in the first place :)

For softcore setups it surely works, as the gearing is not "that" important, as it would be in HC. Putting that in "" as it still is really hard, thanks to very specific needs on the items. But it doesn't require ultimate survivability as HC version would do. Or well, there's no version for that yet, but if there's a moment when I "have time" to test these things out, I surely will do that.
Now I'm back deep into mapping again when I have time and am working 10 hours daily and got the house to restore, haven't been pretty much doing anything on the spare time, than played maps :p

Back to topic:

And the weapon really hasn't be like the Fat-Lady what I'm using. Just should make sure it has a nice critical chance base. Spectral Throw as a skill is a bit low on damage, so making the criticals with decent chance and multiplier should come up with the lack of dps on the skill itself :)

And it would really work with 5 Linked item, if you could get some life leech from gear. I'm not good to comment anything solid for that, as I haven't yet tested it with 5L for both of the mainskills. But I do have a feeling, that Glacial Hammer might be pretty good without Multistrike, sometimes even better, if boss is surrounded by monsters, so you will keep hitting everything within the reach of your weapon. But instead using GH's links without Multistrike, you'd be just hitting the one target you want to hit :)

What comes to leveling. If you can get your hands on Geoffri's Baptism 2H Mace and Tabula Rasa for Spectral Throw, you'll be facerolling with those 2 all the way to ~50 level. I think I used Geoffri still at level 54 and then I boughts some 55 level stick to play until I got to use all my normal stuff :)
Staff requred?
You havent mention the reason you put Elemental Equilibrum on the level guide???
This would mean that hitting glacier strike would add a high cold resist. and you dont have any other type to change to.

I don't have it in the leveling passives I posted, you're seeing wrong :)

Also, staff is almost like required, because Spectral Throw has so low base damage, which makes it a lot power powerful with critical build. Other option is some Mace, but there's not really good crit maces, or atleast ones that doesn't make you invest tens of points to make the crit build really shine.

That happens hehe :p If you can figure some version that is more into safety, feel free to post it here :) I would propably try to pick up those Staff Block nodes and give up some Physical Damage % Nodes, but again, there's not many of them and the ones I have now taken also have Life % and Accuracy % on them, wouldn't like to lose those.

I'm currently playing with the setup I posted later, under the Future Plans 96-97 Level build.

It includes:

Iron Grip
Unwavering Stance
Blood Drinker
+400 more hitpoints

40% LESS manaregen (can really see the difference between Level 17 Arctic Armour and before 21 Level)
Blunt Trauma + 2 smaller Staff nodes are also taken away on this setup.

And it looks like this:

A friend told me they had nerfed cast when damage taken, are you still running with the same gems in your gear as when you made this post, or have you changed it up due to the recent nerf?

Currently on 55, Doing really well with this build and just bought myself a budget staff, Its time to start own in merciless. :)
