Was a fun race with little desync - much less then was occurring earlier in the day while I was practicing. I wonder if that has something to do with the bots. Besides the increased frequency it was occurring in unusual locations. I am almost guaranteed desynchs with Brutus and at least 1-2 episodes in the Submerged Passages (even if I use Panda's tip of frequently stopping to hit mobs). Yesterday before the race it was happening even on outdoor maps such as the Ledge and Prisoners Gate. The latter was particularly frightening/frustrating as getting through there cleanly is a crap shoot at best for me at level 9. Stopping to fight is seldom an option as I will be overwhelmed quickly.
Finished in the low 40's at L18. Surprisingly the 3rd Witch overall. Given how they topped the chart I clearly have a great deal of room for improvement... The 2 hour length was really nice but I'm not sure how that will fit in with the various race formats. I know some real HC folks will try and kill Vaal which, while admirable given the duration, I don't know that it will win you the race but maybe if it had an Uber prize it would motivate more to try. For most it will be a race to a farming spot in Act 2. |
