Dec 12: 2h Solo HC

dah -.-.. just died at merveil in a desync, i was lvl 14 shadow, actualy i was around 20th and 3rd shadow in the ladder when i refreshed after dying

Died 1:24:00 in zoning out of Chamber of Sins Level 2 with no mobs on the screen. I was the first to the area after killing Weaver and Alira, but still pretty late as I was going for a Vaal kill.

Fun race, though. It's great to see these every day now.

gg died twice first one was on track for a great run and I went retarded and died doing ledge, was playing ranger. second one was extremely slow because of awful drops and I got 2 shot in caverns.

Extremely frustrating when you get the best drops you've ever gotten in a run and you die in one of the easiest zones in the game.

My 1st race and I didn't die..finished in the top100 rofls. I set out to actually finish my first race..

OMG low cold resist kept me back..wow that hurt..blew through 7 portals to stay alive.

So when do you get the rewards for this? I made it to lvl 12, says 7 random currency items for reaching this level and not dying.

got nice orbs dropped... whats happening to the characters now, hope they move to hc kept everything in inventory :)

highlights:

had some decent luck this race.

dropped at ledge.

and then

managed to get ms boots
in dark forest by transmut-ing and an alt-ing.

didnt have much luck in weapons so was slow in act1 as i was using starter weapon all the way till coves.

Atrocious drops until level 20, didn't get a single sledgehammer drop, the 5 times I visited the vendor for one it only had 2 and they were blues with worthless mods, so I was stuck using my blue, level 12 Mallet with so/so mods until level 22. Got to use my Spiked Maul for a whole 5 minutes. No alch drops, 1 chaos late in the race, not that it mattered as only one useful rare weapon dropped for me, and that actually had good mods on it.

I'm not skilled enough to compete at the top tier without good drops. I also waited too long (as usual) to get to Merveil. Really need to practice races, haven't competed/practiced in a month.

really bad act 2, horrible weapons and drops and ms boots dropped mid act 2. Got vaal but could have been 5-10 min faster with proper stuff. waterfall caves and pyramid were pretty hard and slow with crap roll 15 and 16 lvl weapons. Also no amulet drop before pyramid. Used alchemies on weapons just before vaal, was stupid not to use them on vendor lvl 20 weapon earlier or something. Also chest was a vaal drop, would have been amazing 3 hour run with the end gear :)

I actually got a really cool weapon from Merveil, the wet dream of any 2hander wielder :D



I know kripp would have loved it at level 10 ^^
