I've seen quite a few uniques that converted physical damage to elemental damage, I figure it's high time for one that does the opposite. The idea here is that this is an arcane piece of equipment that removes the elemental affiliation of whatever passes through it. I have multiple different unique items I'd love to design. I won't be able to purchase a Diamond Pack anytime soon, working college student with a wife and kids. Pretty much doubles your lightning damage since its minimum dmg is extremly low. (and it gets rid of the randomness) This is huge so it has a few drawbacks: spell casters weapons become useless so your better off wearing a shield, so you sacrifice your glove slot (no defenses) and weapon slot. Normal attackers cant duel wield or use a shield/quiver, so they sacrifice their offhand and glove slot. 20% shock on hit because shock is awesome!, and no offhand = less crit = less shock = less awesome. (and to stay in theme) The shocked while casting is so that builds whit this item play different then normal lightning builds, it makes you consider your surroundings before casting/atacking. This can be upped to 2 stacks or maybe 3 stacks of shock if this items is considered overpowered or the desired effect of changing how you fight is not achieved. How it looks: its 1 glove that you wear on your hand that is not used for holding anything, that glove has lightning surrounding it and/or a ball of lightning in the palm of his hand. |
