Rathik's Frenzy/Spectral Throw Discharge build, first draft, work in progress.

I'm also manually casting enduring cry and I put molten shell onto cwdt. Maybe down the road I'll need to switch it up but so far that setup keeps me alive

Even at level 1 it does exactly what is supposed to :).

You can still how ever go with cast when stunned instead of CWDT for enduring cry and critical weakness curse though. Works just as good.

what is the reason for linking ice spear to damage taken? Just to freeze the enemy? I'm hoping in a few levels it works well when I enter act3 merc and maps. Thanks!

Ice spear has a high crit chance and it generates charges very fast regardless on its level.
Its linked with cast on stunned and CWDT for double effect.

Put molten shell in CWS instead of CWDT. If you are CI that is.

I don't have the funds for a 5-6L Volls so the ice spear doesn't apply to me unfortunately but it makes sense now. Thanks! I'll probably make a new character with a new build after this trial one im making is completed. Hopefully with your build ;)

I'm thinking of starting a new Witch and going for this build, It looks like it would be quite fun. Would it be possible for a quick n dirty leveling guide like (20/40/60/80 pts). Sorry for the lack of Knowledge on figuring it out myself. Would be a great help!

I was finally able to watch the video you recently made. Would you not recommend this setup due to lack of single target dps?

Single target DPS can be fixed by:

Taking the DEX road to Vaal pact, that way you improve your accuracy, you get 3 times more accuracy. This is the most important thing. ATM I can't really afford the respec points.

Getting Volls devotion amulet and grabbing more endurance charges. With 3 skill points you can add 2 more endurance charges. If you take bandit rewards you will have 6.
So every time you discharge with 6 power charges you will have 6 endurance charges ready to fire again.

Getting a better weapon :D. Something like mine but a bit faster. Also I think GMP is not needed and cost to much mana, LMP should do the job fine with 50% less mana cost.

The big problem I see with this build is that you can't tank heavy hitting bosses.
You are also limited to the map mods that you can do.
Lower max res + elemental reflect can get you killed but then again other builds have this problem.
No regen is also a problem.

Due to the fact that you are using volls armour, your other items must compensate for the lack of the defense you loose.
With better gear most of the problems go away.
I just can't afford to upgrade gear :).

I just don't see this build for high end content, its not as strong as my EK or Summoner builds.

Its fun as hell though :D.

I know the builds potentials but I just can't afford it atm.
I will still help anyone that tries the build though.

I don't see how the 5L volls has anything to do with the 4L ice spear.
That said, if you can't afford a 5L volls armour then you can't pull of the build.
You will die from reflect with out a life leech gem.

Emm, this witch was already high level. I didn't level her with discharge.
If you can afford this build then you should afford the items on my power leveling guide.
Its a lot faster anyway.
