DonaldF's EK DANMAKU Ranger Extremely High DPS /Jan.14 little update [Videos]

Hey guys!

I could use some help. I'm trying to run some maps now and i'm getting raped to say the least.
My dmg is fair, but my HP/armor is too low i think
Could you take a look and give me some pointers? im lvl 68.

currently running with 1,8k hp (!!!!),32% on fire, 58%cold and 61%lightning. Armour is around 4-5k with grace.
EK dmg lies on 1,5k.

You said you are 68, right? If that's true and you still haven't taken these nodes then, ya, I'd do it.
But don't expect miracles if your daggers suck.

And just because I'm at writing anyway, no, this unique will not help.

You want at least a Golden Kris or Platinum Kris with Global Crit Chance+Spell Damage.

If all goes to hell, at least with Global Crit Chance or Spell Damage.

You need that base 80% Global Crit chance dagger. It makes a huge difference.

max local crit->attack speed->global crit> spell dmg -> global crit multi
i use high physical dmg dagger w\ crit for mana leech but thats just me, solved most mana problems

EK is a spell, not a physical attack.

Running this gear right now and I feel I can drop kinda low on life due to BM. Whats the mainly problem I have?

Your fiend dagger is wrong for this build. Your kris isn't horrible, but is really lacking spell dmg.

Aside from your 6L, the rest of your gems are a mess.

As far as DPS goes is the most important thing basically looking at you Ethereal knives in the character panel and having the highest DPS possible?

I've swapped some daggers and I want to make sure that's how I determine which ones to use because I'm only at 53% chance. Or is it better to have a higher crit chance on Spectral Throw / Cyclone and a lower DPS on Ethereal knives in the panel. I had a dagger that raised chance to 70% but lowered Ethereal Knives damage by 500 dps in the panel.
