DonaldF's EK DANMAKU Ranger Extremely High DPS /Jan.14 little update [Videos]

i switched from double dagger to aegis aurora version and dont regret it...

- incredible boost of survivability (can go afk)
- pretty nice dmg (stack spelldmg!!!)
- 5 powercharges - 100% uptime (no need more crit)
- tempest shield (i love it)
- cdwt - discharge combination (works nice)
- vaal pact (reflect? doesnt matter...)

next updates:
belt (iam thinking about headhunters...)

I'll try yours, thank you. isnt rainbowstride worth though because of lack of any other spell block gears?

I finally found a more powerful setup than cyclone CoC EK... it was right under our noses the whole time ;)

I actually survive more now. Not sure if placebo affect. Build is fine and I haven't tried tons of other end game builds but when I see them they have items that cost a fortune in comparison.

yeah the more reliable crit spell trigger bumps up ur survivability by leaps and bounds.

for ppl selling daggers u need all of whats in

crit chance fore spells and raw crit for ur attak are the most important mods. spell damage is 3rd. without those 3 u are loosing much more than what u think. all the ele damage mods phys damage are completely useless. the attack part of the CoCs link IS NOT IMPORTANT.

stop tryin to spam 2 EX dagger scamming that are useless for this build. when they are really worth 2-5 chaos. paid 2 chaos for mine...

just because u get a 10% crit dagger dont mean u have 2 EX in ur hand PPLS!

I applaud you telling off the selling trolls on the thread but I have to correct something you said.

The best stats in order of importance are actually:

local critical chance -> spell DAMAGE -> attack speed -> spell CRITICAL

Been using this build since it was on page 7 been loving it ever since.

Wanna start this build on my witch!

So, can any veteran player following this Danmaku build tell me whether two EKs or 1EK with Added Fire Damage does more DPS?

added fire. faster attacks adds roughly as much dmg as added fire (good vs ele reflect).

best dps though is another spell: fireball. Ice nova doesnt do as much but the DPS is pretty solid (huge AOE) and it freezes the crap out of everything (better than freezing pulse imo). Arc is pretty good vs bosses in groups (shock stacks). You can always use item rarity for the easier stuff as well. Notice these are all blue gems so you can switch around even if you have some 6L non tabula armor.

How much life is needed to run end-game maps? I'm using ES, thought about aiming for 5-6k ES. Would it be enough?

How about you level your ranger past 81 instead of polluting this thread with your ignorance.

I've done plenty of 77/78 maps on a life build and i would imagine 5-6k is gonna be perfectly fine, especially if you go for vaal pact and/or a shield (or ungil's).
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try using a shield.
