Custom/Diamond Avatars, and their stories.

Stories, not lies. There is a difference. And I wanna know some about the big supporters of the game. They are mostly the reason the game is where its at today. I'm sure there has to be more than Charan as a diamond, I KNOW there are more, I've seen a few of them damnit.

I haven't even spoken with the developers regarding my custom item yet because although I have a few ideas, I don't really want to bother them. I'd rather leave them to setting up a smooth open beta launch.
My avatar is just based on Clive Howlitzer. A character I made in City of Heroes a long time ago. I had always wanted an actual avatar drawn of him and I used a screenshot of him for the longest time as my avatar. They did a really good job also.
I got all my swag signed, seemed like a no brainer to me.
I've actually been pretty inactive in Path of Exile since my characters were moved to legacy a short time ago. While I definitely appreciate the people who take a very hardcore approach to making many characters and testing builds, powers. I simply do not have the time, so I chose to support the devs with my wallet instead.
I am just biding time until open beta.

My name comes from Stargate, meaning Insane or Crazy.

I was using a Replicator avatar for some time on various sites but it was pretty poor quality and blah. I submitted that and a short description of what I was hoping for and certainly wasn't disappointed. Soon after the submission, I received a composite of a few ideas to comment on and then my shiny new avatar appeared in the forum.

I have submitted my thoughts on a unique item, but that's as far as it has gotten. I don't expect we'll see it for quite some time but I've no idea what their queue looks like other than that they've got a lot to juggle. It's cool, I think, but it perhaps more than pushes more than one boundary.. dunno. It's crazy. We'll see.

I asked for all of my stuff to be signed by everybody.. why not? I do feel a bit bad for them having seen the mountains of swag to process for such a small team, but if a temporary hand cramp is the price of success I suppose they'll be alright. :)

I went Diamond for a number of reasons, but mainly because I saw nothing but awesome here and it's hard not to support that sort of initiative. Well thought out game systems by a team that interacts very well with the community.

I haven't really played much since the legacy migration either except to check out a few things that appeared in patches.. waiting on OB.

This, sort of. I could afford Diamond if I could just figure out how to "sell" the idea to my non-gaming wife.

Perhaps an installment plan, where the monthly payments don't trigger any alarms.

I have individual packs from basic to diamond.
But last time I actually played the game deeply was in July.
So I am not very helpful !
I made Chris to sign on everything too!
On top of that I just sent my avatar request last night.
I am terrible terrible person.

I loved stargate, it was a good show for quite a while. And I love the avatar, it looks really good. I again want to thank you as well as any and all supporters of this fabulous game and Wish I could join your ranks someday. Cant wait to see everyones items put into the game and try to collect them all.
