(Dec 2) Three-hour Party Hardcore Ladder Race

Hi! I ripped a shadow and ragequitted. In this morning i see, i received 18orbs. How can i discover what I did to get this orbs?

Party races are extremely boring to me just like how some of you think solo is boring even though it takes way more skill to win in my opinion. So.. people who think solo is boring will still be able to compete in every race as a party racer. Everyone will be happy like that. I don't think it would be too complicated. They are able to make different types of leagues so it should be possible to allow the player to choose what type of race he will compete in before the race. I am just saying.. hopefully some day that it is added.

If they dont do that.. then they could at least make all solo classes have a chance in party race. Even like a 10% chance would be ok with me.

had this suggestion/idea in mind also for some time, but at the race yesterday... we (group of 2) were struggling 'a bit' with our abilities at the Forest, and decided to just run: we were followed by more and more monkeys, each group seems to have a yellow boss or at least some blue ones, and it looked like there were more then 100 behind us as we reached the exit. Thats where different leagues and events come to play. You dont have to participate on all of them, and I'm sure there will be 'options'.

You have to be very good (in taking the 'right'amount of risks) and need, at least some, dropluck to get close to the top, even in solo races (but the gap may be smaller there). To me, races are fine to claim your concentration (and of course for the chance to be rewarded, too) but if race events (like how they were now) would be the only 'option', I would not really be pleased with the game.

The only way to earn orbs even when ripped, is as reward for one (or more) of the first kill/first clear missions. Formerly, Chris edited the winners of these rewards into the race announcement, but has not happened in this race actually. Maybe there is another way to backtrack (some people do statistics) but I cant say for sure.

Add: It should be written down in your logfile, it keeps some (a lot) of whats going on in the chat, and I checked it for also holding the staff messages within th races, but cant look since it needs to know the char's name.

played solo and got to 25.
wish i had ms boots :/ also i got a lot of %ele gear which would have been perfect for glacial hammer instead of heavy strike.
maybe grouping would be a good idea next time.

Combo solo/party events are a dumb idea, keep the events split like they are already.
