Had a terrible time in act 1 but finally got through it.
Unique amulet dropped off Brutus, perfect for western forest grinding. Crafted the weapon right before entering western as well. :) Pretty much perfect gear for this race at the halfway point, with 80% fire resist. Nice ms boots and some sick hp items dime, seems guaranteed win with those :), but gj anyway.
I was first at 2H mark but my 17-25 dps weapons started to really show their age. I had 3-4 2H maces drop even though I thought I would try duelist dual wield since I never played either a dual wield or a duelist before in a race so was pleased to get #1 duelist spot comfortably. Shame I didn't play 2H in that race cause of the stupid imba 2H weapons that dropped for me. I also had a PC reboot as well at like 2 hours 5 mins or something around then which cost me at least 3 mins. I had no movespeed boots and sub par weapons, at least they weren't bad weapons just very average but poor by the end of the race. Invalesco took my 6th spot when the ladders updated hehe, sneaky. But yeah knew I could relax once no duelists were close to me, that always helps. |

Had a decent race with only 2 bails, one at brutus due to terminal desync and one in weaver due to that worthless "move you into position" feature that activated when i clicked a spider behind a wall, which ran me through a door and into an 8 flicker ambush. Probably only lost a lil over 1 minute per bail but its still annoying, as are the unwarranted near death experiences. Brutus took close to 10 mins with the desync bail + prison rerun while merveil was down in 2-3 mins with only 1 portal used. I grinded out the last 1hour or so in western forest- not much incentive to move on in turbo with the current quest layout and xp curve.
Drops were good, with a solid rare torso from hillock (which i actually wore since its turbo), 10% move boots from the vendor right afterward and a chance roll on a ledge amulet that produced a rare strong enough to last the rest of the race. No other interesting items to speak of other than a fine rare weapon 15 mins before the end. Feedback: - Add a toggle for that horrible reposition feature or just remove it. Its the #1 cause of desync and it DOESNT WORK. Every time i let the damn thing move me into whats apparently the right position, i end up firing into walls or my shots all miss even though theyre clearly hitting the enemy on my screen, and its been like this since i started playing 6~ months ago. Being randomly thrown into rooms full of enemies while trying to shoot through doorways isnt fun either. - Brutus is just giant glitch bomb in turbo. Some kind of change or fix would be great. - The risk:reward for moving past western/bridge in 3h turbo races is terrible. Not sure if this is an issue or working as intended. " the whole reposition feature is bad enough that my left click is usually move only and when using all my other abilities I try to always hold shift. I basically never want to be repositioned at all, except via a move only command to a clear spot I am click. |

I had a slow race start, getting to the ledge was much slower than I anticipated. Ran out of portal scrolls during Merevil fight, nearly died my regen vs her patience. Almost died loading into a new zone, put on a ring with +11 life like 2 minutes before. I survived with 10 life after the loading screen :0
I only found evasion rares, which forced me to take a great deal more spike damage than I liked. Beggars can't be choosers. Nearly died more times than I can remember, streamed the whole thing and gave out two beta keys at the end of the race. Only level 28 as max, only 7 above 25 at all... is this for turbo mode, for solo play restriction, or just that much of bad luck? had not expected that lowish results!
