[1.2.0] Lightning arrow bow ranger (3 Auras/ life based/ max dps/ good survivability)

With the change to the passage tree. Is there an update to this build ?

So no Unwavering Stances and Iron Reflexes? Also lots of aura and mana skill points. Could you clarify some changes Dan, please? I am very curious, because changes are significant. Thx for your time and patience.

Any advises on mana management earlier in the game? I seem to be struggling with it quite a bit :\

There is plenty of advice on page 1 isn't it? For example don't use auras too early, try to get some mana leech, or simply don't use LA too early. You can use rain of arrows + conc effect at the beginning. Or Split arrow + added proj damage. The opportunities are endless :)

The reason is that I have been using this crit build at the end of Dominiation (when I re-started to play), and it turned out great. The dps is a lot better than in the old version.

If you get yourself an Alphas Howl, you can run three auras. Auras are OP. I am running Hase, Hatred and Wrath right now for max dmg. I think my LA dps with charges is between 4-5k, which is quite good if you check my gear and the gems I am using (no weapon ele dmg but life leech). My frenzy with charges up is close to 22k dps - only 5-link. And that was without haste (I didn't check the difference after I had swapped grace for haste).

Why no Iron Reflexes? The reason is that the new build uses Ondars Guile which makes you VERY HARD to get hit by any projectiles - awesome node. In addition, you can use armour as well. There are 3 hybrid nodes taken, which boost armour and evasion at the same time.
If you got like 3k base armour + high evasion, that's from my experience enough armour if you get hit and overall safer vs burst dmg. In the end, it's still a matter of preference though.

Why no Unwavering?
It's too far away now and takes too many points. You cannot have it all. Instead you got more crit with the new build, which adds a lot of dps.

A more conservative version (for Invasion league) might be different and more similar to the old build.
If you run this build for example with grace and determination instead you will become super tanky. It hasn't been necessary for me so far because I am using a hybrid armour/evasion chest which grants more than enough defense. The only thing you need to take care of very quickly in any Hardcore league are max res, otherwise the spell dmg can one-shot you. But again, you could swap in any of the specific res gems or the general one.

Does this build works if I were to pick "Blood Magic" passive? If it does, can you explain how will the aura works? Reserve hp instead? Thank you. :)

Could you perhaps add some passive tree's to give some sort of idea where you put passives are you progress? Would be of much help :)

yes it does. You can swap life leech gem for weapon ele dmg then, assuming you have enough life leech from phys dmg on gear. This is possible because without a blood magic gem the mana cost of LA will be much lower.

I did this before (~ 5 trees for each leveling stage), but it cannot be used anymore due to the latest patch. I am honestly too lazy to re-do this every patch, sorry. In Softcore it doesn't really matter how you do the build, because if you die, you die. In Invasion it does matter, but as a beginner you should not play Invasion anyway.

Have you started playing in the new leagues? If so could you post your current gear and like a leveling guide from 1-50 it would be very helpful. Thanks :D
