Summoner Build: 6 auras / New + Videos (1.0.6)

I would like to share my summoner build. I m posting my build here to share it with my friends and i hope this can be useful for some of you. That is the adaptation of the build that i was using before path 1.0.

Hi,
I'm glad you liked the build! I will try to record and post some videos to show how the build works.
I'm currently using the new "Undying Evangelists" mobs, you can find them in the new area " sceptre of god".
They do "fisical damage" and sinergy well with one of the curses i like to use, vulnerability.

I usually summon them using:

1 - raise spectre
2 - faster casting
3 - life leech
4 - incleased area of effect
5 - remote mine or concentrated effect
6 - minion damage or added fire damage(not sure if AFD works)

Your build look so cool, I always wanna make kind of summoner witch like your but 4 auras and 2 curses are enough for me :P. My summoner witch just reached 80 few hours ago and I still trying to farm gears for her

Anyways I have few questions:



1. How many ES did u get?
2. Seem like the unique chest is one of the cores of your build, so before you get it, how did you handle chao damage?
3. How about IIQ and IIR?
4. Have you done well with Piety and Dominus?
5. Should I keep carebear myself to lvl'ing till 89-90 ( My mininons is doing fine atm without 20% quality but my ES is just so lame I could easily get rape in 2 seconds by exiles and some range bosses if i'm not careful- I using CI)
6. Those Evangelist scared my sh*t out each time I think about capture them in sceptre of god, do you have any problem while capture them? Any tips?

I really appreciate your interest in the build and i will try to answer your questions as best as i can. (Sadly english is an issue to me)

1. How many ES did u get?

I have about 5550 ES, depending on the rings that I use.
I wanted to improve my minions as much as possible while keeping a reasonable amount of ES and not using any exploit. That is why i sacrificed some defence on my boots, ammy, shield and chest to make my build to work the way i like.

It is close to impossible to go low life and deal with chaos damage without shavronne's chest.
Before buying my chest i played as a Hybrid ES/Life summoner farming 66 to 69 maps...but it was long time ago...i would suggest you to use Rathik's guide:http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/479976 then adapt to my build slowly.
You can also try to use my build going low life and farming safe areas, without chaos damage, like docks or lunaris, but it will be very unsafe to run maps.

I don't like to stack to much MF when i need to farm.


Running maps with about 300 MF and 40 IQ and keeping the gameplay fluid and confortable is the way i like to farm.
I also prefer to run only maps lvl 69 and 70 using usually: Transmutation, augumentation and auteration orbs, to save as much currency as possible.

4. Have you done well with Piety and Dominus?

In the past i had to use skell totem and minion instability to kill piety, but now,
lunaris Piety and Dominus are extremely easy to kill.

--Buy or level a 20/20 zombie gem asap--that is probably the most important summoner gem to have leveled with max quality.
I would suggest you to keep leveling up to 85, 86 max after that i would suggest to focus in farming uniqs and currency. You will need better gear to run the lvl 72 + maps.

Sincerely i don't have any problem to capture them.
How i proceed inside the sceptre of god:

first: turn on my vit, discipline, purity, haste auras (dont turn on my anger and hatred yet to save mana)
second: look for a pack and start summoning skells and zombies
After that it will be easy to find and summon your evangelists
(i can make a video showing if you want)

5550 ES is quiet a lot for me (atm I only have 3150 with CI :( ) and my english isn't really good too, lol

Does "add cold damage" work with spectre?? I using greater multi projectiles atm because I have a green socket in my silk (Hope it could work with Eva)

Seem like I need to lvl'ing myself and zombie gem first. I'm waiting for your new video

Yes, added cold damage, added lightening damage and added chaos damage does work with spectres.

undying evangelist does physical or fire damage

Evangelists does "Fisical Damage" spell.

Hatred aura and added fire damage are suposed to work too.

quite high end gear you have in there
just a few questions:
- does it make a big difference for you get that +2% all resistances node? I would prefer inner force instead or the aura effect nodes
- not sure what is the role of lori's lantern, it looks like you have maxed resistances anyway, and your light radius is based on ES

and a comment to a previous post, you can go low life without Shavs by maxing chaos resists, but as a minimum you need to keep 500 life to handle 1-2 shots. Gameplay is tricky (lots of dodging) but some people even enjoy the extra tension
