And to answer your other question, unique drops are random. Specific uniques don't have a higher probability of dropping from a specific type of enemy or map location.

Not entirely random.

Specific uniques will only drop from maps or places with high enough monster levels. You can't, say, find a Bringer of Rain off of any normal or cruel monster.

Getting a unique out of a chance orb will only make a unique out of that base type, so if only one unique exists for that base item, then only that unique will be made.
Hey everyone - the build has been updated for 1.0.1 on the front page! Enjoy!

So basically what your saying is that I shouldn't expect to find it in beginner areas, its more likely to drop in higher level instances? Around what level dungeons should I be farming in order to get it?
BloodyKharma- What they're getting at is that you have to be in a zone with monsters at or higher than the level of the item you're looking for - since the Facebreaker requires level 16 to equip, you'll have to be in a zone with a difficulty of at least level 16.

However, since you'll be wanting to have four sockets on your Facebreaker, I recomment you farm any zone of at least Level 28 or above. That's the requirement for items with four sockets. While the gloves may have a level requirement of 16, their item level is a hidden value that corresponds with the level of the monster that dropped the item. You can see an item's level by putting it on your cursor and typing '/itemlevel'.

Thank you very much, that makes a lot of sense!
If possible I would like your help in adapting this build for a Scion. At least, I'm hoping she was who you were referring to when you said a gender change might be needed to get closer to immortality.

I'm currently level 70 and using a spectral throw build, but I'm fairly bored with it and the only I'm missing for this build is a BoR. This is my current build:

I'm aiming to respec to this build - - unless you have any modifications I could make before I spend my refund points. What should I aim for around level 83-84?

Edit: Forgot to mention I helped Oak in normal and cruel, but killed everyone in merciless.

Sodotek- That's not quite what I was referring to, but that little hint was about something far more radical...so ignore it for now. :) Building this character as a Scion is an interesting challenge, so I'll help as best I can!

First of all, you might want to use the bandit recipe to get Oak's reward instead of the skillpoint. Endurance charges are the most important thing for this particular build and you can never have enough of them. Second, here's a whack I took at a 102 point (level 85) skill tree starting as a Scion:

From that point onward, just take the life nodes in the big circle and in the duelist starting track. Hope that helps!

hrapvlesu, if you compare the price of a Bringer of Rain to an endgame 6L chest or weapon, or an endgame unique like Soul Taker, Lioneyes, etc, you'll find that this build is comparatively cheap.

Also note that you don't need to buy an endgame chest, belt, boots, gloves, or shield for this build... the only big hit is the Bringer of Rain.

I can partially agree with that, but build that requires ~11ex item (current BoR price on Domination) can't be called cheap.

Thanks for the feedback. Should I grab the skill duration and buff duration nodes after I've picked up Phalanx, Sovereignty, and Holy Strength?
how is bringer of rain cheap?
