Oro's Ceaseless Discharger (Spectral Throw + Cast on Crit Discharge)

so im trying to mimic Brandon's build right now and i wanted to know anything i should strive for or work on with my gear currently. im farming docks for some better equips since i think im not ready for piety or dom.

can i get a gear check?

Spectral Throw needs accuracy because it is an attack.

In the skill stats it has a chance to hit value, but I made the experience that it hits 100%. With my ST Scion I dont have any accuracy and with ~80% chance to hit I still never miss. Maybe I should check that again, but on my way to level 70+ I was pretty sure I dont need any accuracy.

This may actually have some logic behind it - ST hits a target many times as it passes through. However, the game only lets ST hit a target every 0.35 seconds per action (so, you can not shotgun a target with ST).

What may be happening is that on a miss this limitation is not registered, so the target gets hit by the next "tick". If this is the case then you would have to have pretty low accuracy for it to be noticeable (i.e., however many ticks occur as it goes through a target, all of those would have to miss for it to make any real difference).

I'm not saying this does occur, it is just it would not surprise if it did.

Ok I tested it with a naked ranger only equipped with a white fancy foil and ST level 1 at merciless twilight strand. And it really happened that I missed attacks. There was a hit animation and most of the times a hit sound, but the target lost no hp. I guess that missleaded me. I dont use ST on any build right now, but good to have some clarity about it for future builds.

Alright I managed to modify the OP's build into actobatics while maintaining the OP ass damage so in short I'm not I can actually live for a bit now rather then fucking insta-death from time to time

And since my volls is only 5link and missing Life leech, that 4% will help!

My crit chance went from 37 to 47% BEAUTIFUL!!

No to save for my Volls Ammy and gifts!

Grats on getting a new weapon! I also got an upgrade last night which I think could be the #1 dagger for the build in SC at this time. Waited for the seller for more than a week but it was worth it.



Anyway, that 4% Leech on the weapon won't help you much since it doesn't work with Discharge. The minimal life leech you'll get from spamming level 1 Spectral Throw won't really benefit you. So I highly suggest to get GGGBR on your 5L for that Life Leech gem. In my opinion, Life Leech gem should be prioritize more so than Increased Aoe/Critical chance.

Yes I see that now, Unfortunately I dont have the currency to buy another 300-500chroms to change the colors.

Man I got a fucking 3 blues 3 greens on my volls I don't know if I wanna change that lol

well this might be a great build but I am about OUT of supplies
Rolling on a six socket Voll's
297 chromatic to get 3 greens ( and I mean the first time I saw 3) but it was with 2 reds and a blue. I got 9 6R and 3 6B
213 links and best I got was a 4 socket...
this is just crazy and I am out of supplies.

well I heard they were nerfing discharge again next week anyway.
