Btw: I also was going to try the shield guys, but i think you should just do it when you play with 3 spectres. If your BMs and zeds are tanky enough, 2 BMs will increase the effective area of the aura by a lot imo.

Ya I only run with 3, I love the extra zombie too using Bones of Ullr.

So after more tinkering, I came to the conclusion that running 2 bms with increased area, and one shield guy works VERY well. The bms have a large aoe and cover ground very well. And then when you come to piety, the shield guy is very helpful here. For me(im sure this applies to everyone else) piety does serious damage to my minions with her ice shots, as you see in the build, he run from her during the ice. Well with the shield guy, my minions and I just stand in the shield, while she shoots ice arrows at us, and the shield blocks them, making us completely invincible.

Curse her with Enfeeble when she changes to the "ice form" and youl hardly notice her dmg (this goes for every build out there, enfeeble helps ALLOT), that + a animation flask (if needed) shuld be more then enough, no need to waist a specter on "defence" while running piety, imo.

I for example dont even need enfeeble or another defensive curse/spell anymore. Im just cautious when she changes to her ice form. So popping flasks is usually enough for me now. MrGuardian is right, 3 spectres with ullr is a pretty good idea to protect you and your minions when your gear/auras/passive tree/gem setup isnt that great yet.

But im also your opinion SpyChicken. once you dont really need the shield guy you should switch to 2 spectres (2 BMs), because you can use goldwyrms instead of ullr and thus get much more MF.

Shield guy?
Can we get a name/loc of the mob.

Undying Evangelist in the sceptre of god.
I've been experimenting with the lvl 17 animate guardian + 18/20 minion life + increased aoe combo on weapon swap, to see how useful it can get with some basic support uniques like leer cast, zahndethus and perandus crest. He was pretty tanky with necro aegis, however for some reason I can't resummon him. Logged out last night after a few hours marathon, and I can't recall him being anywhere near the danger zone. Ideas?

Anyone have tried out yet the new DoT passives in the passive tree, it is not that far from IR. Just needs testing if the DoT passives give effect to the BM's auras.

Finally I got my summoner to that point where I can survive already. Instead of facebreaker, I have been STing my way up to merc act 2 now. Using one BM and one flame sentinel at this moment while working my way up to act3. BM tends to die from time to time to time, atleast for the storm herald elites. Need to grind more levels for the gems. :)
1. How well can this build handle level 72+ maps?
2. What is the clear speed like for summoner builds? I'm curently running an EK build that 2-3 shots mobs, how comparable slower will a summoner build be in zone clear time?
