[1.3]Fireball Witch guide for beginners
" The nerf was only from 120% over 4second (30%/sec) to 80% over 4sec (20%/sec) not as you said here 120 to 20. And in exchange it is now way easier to scale it making it a buff in the end if you build for it. It is still totally possible to go for the single projectile burn (I can demonstrate if you like me to). But sure lmp is still a very solid fireball support not sure what that guy was going one about it being wrong. |

Does the patch do anything to this build?
|
|
As far as I can tell the patch has only buffed the build. I'm eagerly awaiting Bada_Bing's input on the matter though.

updated tree for 1.1 + some minor changes to the guide.
Big damage boost + elemental adaption is now within reach. |

" Thanks for the quick update! You're the best. |
|
Yeah, thanks for doing that so quickly Bada Bing!
Noticed Lord of the Dead isn't taken anymore, is it okay if we keep it? I really like the summon skeletons + spell totem set-up, and it benefits a lot from that node. I'm going life based if that makes a difference in your response. Last edited by Radagastt#5613 on Mar 5, 2014, 8:03:01 PM

" The buff to the starting nodes is too good to ignore so i skipped the LotD shortcut. You might keep it but once you level up your summon skel gem you can do without the 2 additional skels. 5-6 skels is enough (that's lvl 9 and 16 on the gem). |

sent you a pm, but thought i'd post here in case others had the same question.
for clearing piety/dominus, what's better between fireball or freezing pulse? |
|
What do you think about going Eb and using Cloak of Defiance? it would also help a little with reflect

" A fire witch has a better clearing speed. You have a secondary effect that is dealing damage instead of boosting your defense by freezing/chilling after all. |
