Playing this build, I'm level 63 now, and I hadn't any problem yet. Things were differents with my first HL char, a staff lightning templar.
Itemization is a little difficult, especially for the weapon. I also suit a belt level 8 who gives me life and mana regen when phy dmg are given, I think it will perhaps be something wrong for the upper levels. Thanks to the original poster and all the participants to their help. |

Good build. When it comes to swapping infernal blow with glacial hammer its very useful for ele reflect.
But for me the dps was just too underwhelming especially when it came to party gameplay or high level maps 70+. So i changed my gear for facebreakers instead of a 1h weapon, bought some good "added phys dmg" rings + abyssus + meginords girdle, respecced my passive skill tree a bit. Crazy result: 19k dps with infernal blow buffed by hatred aura (it was 7k dps before). 4,5k life, 5,5k armor, max resists. My current gear:

on your high lvl passive tree (lvl 98), u swapped out catalyse and lava lash.
can you tell me why? i think the build is safe / tanky enough even with catalyse and lava lash, so i dont get why you would want to get even more tankier? |

My version is a little more expensive, in that Aegis is pretty much necessary lol. But I find that having a somewhat substantial ES buffer rather than the standard 500 or whatever is immensely helpful. Also, the Daresso armor is just something I happened to find while MFing for funding to gear this char. I'm not really built around it but the Onslught mod is active more often than not and is pretty helpful for DPS. I think ideally I'd rather have a really godly Saintly with like 1.6k armor and 600 ES, but those are crazy expensive obviously. Right now I have 3.3k life, 1.4k ES, 19k armor, 9k AoE dps, and 10.5k ST dps. Resists are 75/80/75/41. I've found very few things even remotely threatening. Residence Dominus with some crazy damage mods got me pretty good just because of those damn suicide bombers, and obviously Shock and Horror is pretty impossible. But other than those, I've been able to solo double bosses of everything else (Haven't tried Academy boss yet as I'm working up a 75-76 map pool now). Also, really beefy DoTs can hurt. But as long as I'm paying attention (which isn't often on this build TBH lolz) it's not a big deal. Overall, this character is, IMO, about as close to invincible as I can get with the kind of funding I have. It's pretty insane that I can AFK in most situations. IGN: Smegmazoid

" Yeah at real high lvls there's a LOT of viable variations on the build , the version I linke d is the basic version , the one that's best to deal with bad gear and -60% chaos resist, as soon as chaos resists become less of a problem, there's many viable variations.
