Why is 30% ignite increase not worth it?
Heres my 2 cents. Im lvl 76 atm, doing 66-68 solo. After patch i respeced abit, took all fire nodes and ignite node near BM and projectile nodes near scion starting area. 2 stacks is enough to kill any boss in map atm. I have 5.5k hp, maxed res and 3k armor. Phy dmg is a problem for me, so i started using immortal call with increased duration, have 7 sec with 5 charges, enough to kill any phy pack. Then i removed molten shell couse it procs to much and makes enemies resistant to fire and switch to Cwdt-enduring cry-enfeeble-temp chain, im using +1 curse ring. And becouse i took all those dps nodes, reflect became huge problem, so i started using multiple traps-conversion trap linked with increased duration-immortal call. When i see refelect rare, i drop some traps, kill pack and then kill reflect rare, when hes alone, theres no problem. Only thing i cant do now is reflect map, everything else is breeze.

Its not like suddenly u will die from 3 arrows in a small reflect pack?

Yes, they now double dip your dps, so its really huge increase if you take them
I was wondering if anyone could answer a couple questions about Burning damage. I'm seeing huge inconsistencies with my damage and it's becoming really annoying. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what.

I'm currently level 64 running EA(17% atm), Fire Pen, Conc Effect, Chance to Ignite, and Prolif. The initial burst of damage is always consistent, aside from various resist mobs. But for example, I notice sometimes that my burn damage can drain an extra life rare mob's health in literally seconds, and other times it's just pitiful damage. Like, we're talking barely does a few ticks worth of damage on a vulnerability to fire mob. Does this have to do with crits on the explosion perhaps?

Also, I guess I'm a little confused as to how Elemental Prolif works. If the mob contracts the burn from another around it, is it not putting the full debuff on it? I notice sometimes that a mob will walk into the area, start burning, and then the burn goes away in about a second. Does it only spread the current state of the burn? i.e. if the burn has 2 seconds left, the mobs will only get a 2 second burn?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out! It's just frustrating sometimes because things can become very slow to clear. I'm moving toward the burning damage nodes with hopes that it'll help a bit but, I'm just baffled at the inconsistency of it all.

EDIT: Just remembered we take RT so the burn thing can't be related to crits. Now I'm even more stumped.

Yes, I am experiencing this exact odd problem as you too. Sometimes I feel the ignite is quick, other times I feel it's not doing much. I think it has something to do with the amount of fuses you put on, because the ignite damage is taken from a portion of that and burns. Then if you have proliferation, it spreads to nearby enemies(the corpses).

You're experiencing the high and the low sides of ignite damage, it's directly related to the amount of fuses you stack and the high/low of the fire damage per fuse stack on your tooltip. It then gets reduced by the amount of fire res the mob has. Ele prolif lasts for a short amount on the original target that you EA'd. The mob that walked into the burning prolif got burned from the dead target's prolif till the prolif went away. Ele prolif will not spread to new mobs unless they were present and got ignited by the initial damage from your EA.

The dmg is VERY dependent on the fire res of the monster you gave the burning.
