RT is good for lvling.. but when you out lvl the content your chance to hit doesnt matter. that % is only towards enemies your lvl.

you really need life nodes. if you followed my progression you would have awesome life/armor before going after mom/eb. mom/eb is a end game thing before mapping to give you a extra damage mitigation. this is a tank build after all.

Yeah, kinda figured going my own way would have it's downfalls. Armor/HP nodes along with the damage nodes would help alot right now, but I think I will just pain through it for another 8+ levels to get more passives to sink into my tree and pick that stuff up.

Also need to 5 link my mace for DS, and add these two things from your build as well.

I am sure the endurance charges, molten shell, and temporal chains would help me about abit, especially if its all basically casting by itself. Need to buy Cast on Damage Taken, it's a drop only gem, right?

And have you tried LMP vs GMP? Just wondering your thoughts on that as well.

Edit: Another thing... How many levels over does accuracy stop mattering? I can take quite a few points back once I get to a certain level, right?

cwdt is a quest reward in merc library

havnt tried gmp yet ill try it out later

well since we normally do maps about 5-10 lvls over the map lvl then it just doesnt matter heh. i dont know the actual math/numbers but i know there is a thread about it somewhere

How well Bringer of Rain fits into this build or is Kaom's Heart just superior?

honestly i dont think either will benefit this buld. bor is nice but u lose your armor which is a big es chunk for EB. and kaom's well again no es but you could get it elsewhere on gear, so it may be a option.

as this is a cheap/self found build neither are viable options imo.

Hello, thanks for the excellent build it's been working like a dream so far, im lvl 64 at the moment.

One thing i was wondering is how much mana do you guys have for MoM to work? I don't have it yet as i have very low manapool atm.

And should i aim for one big ES gear (chest or so) for EB to be profitable? as right now i have no ES whatsoever.

i think 1k mana is more than enough with grace and lvl3 clarity you have roughly 500 mana left over.

you could aim for a vaal regalia or other pure es armor, only downside is you lose ev/ar. i chose the hybrid so i can maintain some extra armor. but i think a pure es would be more than fine.

Do ST builds suck late game? By late game I mean dom runs, map runs. I wanna be able to clear dominus pretty fast atleast.... I don't know if I should keep leveling my st

i dont think so. im doin up to 73/74 maps now and to decent damage with st/ds. if it was worthwhile i would kill merc dom but its not so why take the risk.

IGN @Dbum
Appreciate all your help man. Having a kid and time restraints, I have 4 toons in the late 60's. Planning on making this one my first real MAIN character and mapping with it. ST had me hooked as soon as I started using it, and I can tell by just leveling 3 more times that the tankiness is coming!

72 a good level to start lvl 66 maps? I will keep smashing the docks from 65 to 70, and start progressing the story since I just downed Piety.

I'm gonna start a new character with this build on Nemesis and I'll keep posting my impressions.
I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

Can you update your current gear section when you get a chance? Few are unverified, out of date?
is life leech better than life gain on hit for spectral throw?
Damnit... RIP'd to chaos damage in merci act 2 at lvl 64. Just dropped too fast to even react. How do you counter this kind of damage?
How well have people been doing leveling this build on Nem? anything that needs to be particularly looked out for? Such as Chaos RIPing Refugee?
I have soloed my way to lvl 70 so far with ease..2nd char on nemesis..this build rocks

Just hit 68, and took 6 points out of my tree to eliminate Resolute Technique. Still on the docks, I notice with a 78% accuracy, that I do not miss much at all, if any. I am now wondering how much over the content I have to be, to ensure that I can hit stuff.

I put all those points into HP/Armor nodes, and am very impressed.

Also got CoDT, and that with molten shell and enduring cry made a HUGE difference. Walking around with 3-4 endurance charges with grace/hatred on make me feel like a badass.

What level do you suggest mapping, and should I keep at the docks until that time?
Hey there,

I'm quite a beginner and after I had some painful deaths this is the first build i follow. So far it works great but I just started wondering if the EB/MOM combination is really worth it and wanted to hear your opinion about my thoughts:

I understand that you wanted to get another form of damage mitigation. However you really have to spend some points to get all the way up to EB. Besides you also have to take gear that features ES instead of just focusing on armor/evasion. I feel like you have to try to get so many things that you end up with having everything half but nothing real.

Instead I thought it could be better to just develop into the Mauraders Tree and get some more life nodes/ armor increase nodes and maybe pick up a few 2h dmg increase nodes.
