Dex amulet or from Harrier go do down/right, taking the 3 Dex nodes and the 2 mana Nodes.

Respec when no longer needed.

What is the gear progression for the beginning, mid, and end game for this build? Is it just the same armor, health and resists trend as usual or do I need to look for anything specific?
Anyone? :X

One question that i dont understand is why picking IR.

A level 20 grace gives us 2k evasion (so armor).

A level 20 determination gives us 50% of our armor, so, with 4200 armor (something that i think that its easily attainable) it gives us the same armor as grace. So, the more armor we get after these 4200, the better determination gets.

In fact, if we are a str user, it may be difficult to have enought dexterty to raise grace to level 20.

So, if we have no plan of running grace (with IR) + determination together (and having no mana/damage aura at all), i dont see why to pick IR as a STR user and not spending these pasive points into more life nodes.

In addition we could save the points wasted on the way to wrecking ball and spend them on specific weapon nodes maybe.

Editing: and, about catalyse cluster, does it really worth the points? if we are running added fire damage, that adds 40% phys damage as fre damage, catalyse will boost this 40% fire damage by another 40%, that is 0,4*0,4 = 16% damage increase for three points (a bit more if we use a damage aura but it depends on the above posted)

Once you have something similar to this:

Do whatever you want.

Don't want the mana nodes to Shaper, link Shaper via the untaken Str node.

Want the 12% life node in the big life circle by the Scion start, as opposed to shortest path, go for it. It's 12% life for one point.

Don't like the Marauder area, then go up Templar. There are to viable paths, just depends on what you are going to grab in Templar area. If grabbing everything, go around the outside and enter. If you just want the life/regen/physical damage, enter from underneath via the path to RT.

Don't want IR, don't take it.

Don't want to walk the path to Wrecking Ball, don't do it. Even from IR, it's 8 points to get there. If you are set on your weapon type, or want more life, or whatever, you may be better off staying with what's right next to you.

There is not going to be a "one tree fits all", especially in the brand new Domination/Nemesis leagues. Also, no one is going to have a final tree until end-game gear is acquired. Myself, I'm level 53. So far, I've used every two-handed weapon type the game offers. At this point, highest DPS wins; weapon type doesn't matter.
well, what i was looking for, is something telling me why every sction ST build picks IR and/or catalyse.

Because with the numbers posted above, i think that im missing something.

IR, because everyone needs armor and with IR you have a much larger selection of equipment to choose from. Why limit yourself to just "armor" pieces when IR allows you to choose from "armor", "armor/evasion", and "evasion" pieces. Besides, this build has no/very little Dex to boost Evasion from any source.

As for Catalyse, whether or not you go for that depends on your gear. If all your gear has one or two +x-to-y elemental damage affixes and/or you are using added fire damage gems and/or Hatred aura.... you are probably going to want it.

So, the best way to handle it, is taking IR at first and, when u have a pure armor gear, respect these points into hp/dmg nodes i suppose.

20 - 40: fill down towards Iron Grip but don't grab it

Why would we not grab Iron Grip?!

I don't think there's any reason not to.
He may be thinking that it's not worth the skill point until we have more STR.
