Disconnect before Dominus fight

This has not gotten any better since launch. I have the same issue as many others in this thread. I'll get to the top of the tower and it looks like it loads but not fully (the lighting is a bit dim on the screen) and my game freezes right before I get the disconnect message.
Same sort of hot fix is required. |

same here.. it's really frustrating, the normal was fine, but when i was doing the cruel it won't let me reach the top.. please fix this.. i wanna go to merciles! :'(

I just don't understand why the Dominus fight has rain in it. That's soooooo many extra sprites to render, especially when you already have piles upon piles of loot and all the various mobs that are part of the fight. I don't have a high end card (It's a Radeon HD 4300) but I haven't managed to get fully through the fight to the next difficulty. Stuff just keeps crashing, even though I've killed Dominus twice (once I crashed during the loot drop from Dominus, the next time during the credits, and now I can't even get him to reappear so it's impossible to move on to Cruel)

Same issue, got disconnected after clicking on the stairs (in Normal).
Fought my way up through the Sceptre of God again*, click on the stairs again...got disconnected again. Bring back Open Beta - it was fun, and it worked :) * By the way, this is the least fun area to date - so far my preferred strategy is just to run past the monsters and find the stairs as quickly as possible. Sad to say, between the lag and the desync it's just not worth engaging the mobs. My hat is off to people who attempt this in a Hardcore league... |

Tried once more - same result.
GGG - would be nice if there was a way to move on to Cruel and leave the Dominus fight for later... |

i think the crash came from raining efects or from top mixture .. it is od ..

Add me to this list. Rain needs to be removed from this game or a toggle option. Fps is crap. Probably reason its doing this.
