Legacy Items: An Owner's Thoughts & Guild's Thoughts & Our Petition!!! Note: Moderators Needed!

I'm patiently awaiting this thread dying like it should have 12 hours ago but we can't all get what we want.

Please stop being rude... leave this thread if you are going to act like that. Perhaps you are the same person who sent me a death threat via my personal e-mail? Please be civil or do not post at all.

I have sent an e-mail from my personal mail to Chris @ GGG so that he may take a look at this petition. Perhaps he can offer a resolution to this matter. We patiently await his arrival.

You know you're only allowed in very important matters to contact Chris directly, right?
I disagree.

If your guild doesnt want them they are free to:

A) drop the items in town
B) use the orb to update them

Altering items in hindsight, even for clearly op stuff that needs it, is a slippery slope with many other considerations than the relative power of the items in question.

Some of these considerations include:

The fact that standard/hardcore are dumping ground leagues that everything eventually ends up in. It is the same as playing MTG with a stranger, you have no idea what legacy cards they may have.

There must be a reasonable expectation that an item youre trading for today will not be fucked with by the devs at a later date, destroying or reducing the value of the item traded for. (d3's retroactive IAS nerf, anyone?)

B. (who does not own any of the high end op uniques)
The Preceding message contains discretion.
Viewer nudity is advised.

How is this not an important matter? I think the petition speaks for itself.

And randomly accusing people of sending you death threats is not rude? Double standards.

over 95% of the people here have been civil, who else would be sending me death threats? It's more than likely one of them. I never had this issue until after having posted this petition today. It makes sense... think about it for a second. Anyways, I will let the police handle it if I think I need to contact them for my own safety. Do some research, and you will see that this is not a joke... they take things like this seriously. I suppose I should just allow them to continue to act the way they do with impunity? No, why should everyone else follow the rules but not them? Please get off your high horse and stop playing that... never mind, I refrain...

That doesn't make it an important matter, besides, you commented so many times in this thread that half the pages are from your comments alone. if the thread was at 100 pages by now without you constantly telling people they're rude it might actually be important enough for GGG to comment in it.

They haven't commented in here to discuss the legacy items because they're too busy with the patch and because its not as important as you think.

I'm sorry but i don't think PMing Chris was the right thing to do.
