It's just not going to happen. They literally don't have time to do what you're asking, because it involves a lot of leg-work regarding deleting existing items and then manually putting the new ones in their place.

Just wanted to add that so that you're not too disappointed when this petition bears no fruit.

I spent all of today reading through the nearly 100 pages in the thread regarding the update. The vast majority agree with what we feel from that thread, too. I am trying to also get people in game to come see this post. We need a better idea of what people want. I am not here for myself. This is about the majority. I have all of these nice items, and I would toss them in the trash if it meant my guild would stay around. I love my clan members, and I love many of the people in this gaming community. I have met people here unlike any other in all of the games I have played. This is about family to me.

I agree. Keep all Kaoms the same. Otherwise it's just not fair.

anyway most of the "OMG I AM LEAVING THE GAME" are pure lie, not deliberate but just overreacting. But if you like the game, legacy or not will not change this fact, this cannot alter your game experience in any case, except PvP but nobody do PvP today. Especially when a big part of the community is going to play new league...
