A lot of people asked me what is the point of Hardcore, i tried to explain and it was so awkward, because it is pointless, at the end they couldn't really get the point, they though it was so stupid, why play HC if you lose nothing at the end lol.

I wanted a hardcore game, why every good game has to go casual. ALWAYS! [removed by admin] They make it casual! They cry always!

I guess I am happy playing in the fake HC league and deluding myself.

Funny, I always had the opinion that SC didn't exist. There is HC to play and god mod if you need practice.

well technically god exists as a concept, and everyone that believes in it proves his existence...

HC league is still hard core if you believe in it (you can always delete you char upon death, but you will never be able to go back to HC after death, no matter what)

these are concepts and not physical entities... and they are as much correct as number zero, which btw does not exist neither... why is it so hard for people to understand?

You are dead to me. I am joking, but softcore/scrubcore characters don't really exist to the hardcore characters. You can give away your dead character's stuff, delete and remake the character in hardcore, or pick a new name and start over.

D2 claimed the name Hardcore, but really most games 'hardcore' mode is just one death softie mode. If you want a real challenge, try Ironman.

If someone hasn't played Ironman style (D1 original ironman, not the BS D2 weakling version) than they have only played kindergarten hardcore.

Most hardcore is like a PG movie, Ironman is XXX.

Until someone has really tried to make the game challenging with the options available (no one is forced to use Alt+F4 for example) than I find it hard to respect their complaints about what the game does allow in terms of being too easy.

If someone has pushed the game to its limits and finds it too easy, than that is an entirely different story.

The closest I have seen to that yet, is some of the racers' posts wanting more challenge.

It's like going from Major League baseball back down to the farm leagues with no chance of ever coming back. It's like going from being one of the most anticipated games ever (such as the successor to D2) to being one of the most reviled and disappointing games ever.
