If you ONLY play hardcore you get a useless softcore player with no currency. While I personally think you should lose all your gear except skill gems (basically like Cutthroat), for the rest I think things are fine. I have played enough hardcore races to know that sometimes things happen that cause you to die that are beyond SKILL to survive. It is nice to know that your character is not total trash should something like that happen. At least I can still look at the passive points and try to make something better for the next time. I personally can not play hardcore because my trash internet causes me to have item pickup times of up to 3 seconds during peak internet usage hours. I can see my swings hit things normally by the time my next swing is about to land. This makes survival very challenging and under some circumstances impossible. If you are so inclined you could try a new method to address your concerns instead of crying in the general forms. Try making a nice and friendly enhancement request. |

" i Did, i have x3 lv 80s and x6 lv 70s. Hit level 80 is pretty easy, play 2 weeks, you got it. But then lag and 2 mobs kills you, while i made some high level maps 75, and i have no idea how people can die from mobs, we did maze, temple, and you know what killed me at the end ? 2 mobs in barracks when the game lagged at the waypoint. So, saying lv 95 was an example. Playing hardcore is pointless when there is a chance to die for something that was NOT your fault. One should only play HC if one finds it enjoyable. I believe the people who enjoy HC have a clear understanding of why they like it.
This is why they don't let some bullshit happening now and then (which is inevitable) interfere with the enjoyment they get from the game. |

No one who plays Hardcore uses dead characters on softcore for anything but testing. If they wanted to play with players on softcore, they would be playing on softcore, not hardcore.
