its safe for HC too as long as you get enough life on gear

Let me ask victor, do you ever feel really inferior to Ele bow users?

I ask because I have a lvl 35 phys ranger(mind you im rerolling due to...well a LOTTA errors). And all ive been being told is to just go ele bow, or dont bother using a bow.


Any truth to that? My main concern is that with no Diamond flasks, we need damn near perfect gear to be viable, or am I being misinformed?

You are quite well informed, physical ranger in CB were always inferior to ele rangers, but that didnt stop me to show that physical damage can work :)

With decent gear and levels you can tank better than a ele ranger thats for sure, because elemental damage doesnt achieve the same ammount of mana and life leech as physical does, because physical damage benefits from all of the leech mods from items, so you do not have to sacrifice a gem slot.

With a bit of play time this build will do very well in open beta :)

Just one question, anyone feel free to answer -
What path should I take on his passive tree? I understand eventually you will have them all but there must be an optimal order to take them for levling or survival etc.

I'm following this build and loving it so far (level 44 at the moment). I need to know what bandit choices I should make, in normal I killed all 3 for the passive skillpoint, but what should I do for cruel and merc? I feel as though the 12% physical damage would benefit this build, as well as the frenzy charge, but should I go for the passive instead? I am at the quest right now and won't even play until I get an answer - so any input would be very appreciated. Thanks!
