I would not try to get 5L on such bow. You can try for 4L with another 5-10 Fusings but you will replace the bow pretty soon.

Im lvl 50 as well, my gear is pretty similar to yours, i just have a little more leech and less defence. Your bow seems a tad too weak, try to get an upgrade soon.

I do fine in Sarn Slums. I kite with RoA and it doesnt take more than 3-5 of them, depending on the enemy. What i feel is really helping me is an Add Cold Damage skill gem on my RoA. That makes kiting a lot easier as enemies are slowed significantly, sometimes even frozen. I dont think you can expect to be face tanking...

Are you using concentrated aura to support ROA?, also temperal chains as victor points out does wonders to packs.

Hmm what upgrade whould i take? what dmg spread should my bow have? thx for tip on added cold dmg but ill start at lvl 1 with it since its not leveled, is it ok you think?

hmm, ok thanks. thought I could make use of it for a longer period. I wont waste any more orbs on it then, cause another link wont give me that much of an advantage.

Hey guys.
I'm currently level 59 and on my way towards the last Frenzy node in the Passive Tree.
I got 1.5k HP, 5k Armor (with Grace) and unbuffed dps at ~360 RoA and 430 Frenzy.

I can handle most of Cruel Act 2 (just collected the Ribbon Spool) and I can handle The Docks without any big problems, except for insane Elite "dogs" in The Docks.

The thing I want to do now is upgrading my damage, since I need to spend a serious amount of arrows to burn down enemies.

I've just collected this Bow:

I'm wondering if I should try my luck on combining the sockets.
It's Item Level is 52 IIRC.

dps is low and will it jump up enough to justify your orbs?

i wouldnt waste a sinle scroll of wisdom on it..dmg is so low even my is not good enough and its much highier dmg and 1,35 atkspeed
i think only good rares deserve to be orbed heavily

Ok, I am lvl 66 so far. I told myself I was gonna copy your HC version to the letter after I died to a lag spike in cruel Sewers Aqueduct with the poison alchemists.

However I find it kinda hard to follow exactly so here is my build so far:

My dps and defense is as follows:
Frenzy/RoA: 770/783 w/o charges
Frenzy/RoA: 1914/1015 w/7 charges
6K armor 48% reduction with 7 charges & lvl 14 grace
77% all resist with purity
2564HP

It is working out ok so far. I just recently lost the colors to use enduring cry on my gloves so that I could use reduced mana for grace/purity, and I am missing it for sure. I know I need better chest/helm/boots.
While leveling through cruel I used arrow dodging and pure evasion then switched over to IR in late A3 or merciless and I have missed being able to stand in a flurry of chaos spitters in A3 or A2, with endurance charges I might switch back to evasion not sure yet.

So what do you think so far? This will be the first HC Ranger that I will be using RT on and I am worried I will be missing the crits.

Just higher base level than 47 or 50, wait till you get up to the Spine bow (next tier ivory 64) or Imperial bow (next tier highborn 66)
