His post was updated on january 30th, so I assume the build is ready to rock'n'roll for OB.

Do you use any links with your auras/totems/curses at all?

Just use the usual, reduced mana cost for them, didnt see any reason to use anything else, except for maybe faster casting on totem and curses, but thats not actually necessary.

Hi victor,

Just wanna ask if unwavering stance keystone suitable for this build? Since IR depletes our evasion rating already to 5%, dodging is pretty useless then.

thanks

Too many points wasted to get it and you wont get stunned so much since you will not be in melee range most of the time.

So, now that im pretty much "done" with leveling (73 as of now) where do you
suggest i farm maps? Doing City of Sarn has yielded 4 maps in maybe 100 runs.
Which is super bad imo, any suggestions?

start running maps, and farm city with friends, then it will be more fun and you can do maps together, maps are much easier in a group than solo.

RoA(or split arrow)-Inc crit dmg-inc crit strikes-faster proj-faster attacks works well.

Frenzy:Faster attacks-mana leech(if needed)-inc crit dmg-inc crit chance-faster attacks

I have a question. I've mostly been running split arrow as my aoe, but wouldn't using faster strikes, faster attacks and such be inferior to fork and pierce? if not, you'll just hit the frontline. I get that it works wonders with RoA, seeing as you hit a circle, rather than shooting a wall of arrows.

Is it your opinion that RoA is better than split arrow, because you have to "sacrifice" passives to get an optimal AoE effect with split arrow?

And another question, what about puncture? I know it's not a very popular skill, but I've been having fun with it, especially when kiting fast moving unique mobs. Although I'm unsure how puncture interacts with say Life Leech and Mana Leech. I'm guessing the dot wont proc LoH.

And thx for a great guide. I've just found it, and after checking your passives, I'm on the exact same track.

Usually if you use split its better to get a pierce passive for this build, to be honest ive never been a fan of these new supports (fork, chain) so i just dont use them, but those are of course suggested passives, you can change them however you want, i would just get piercing for split.

Yep, id rather always use RoA because i really liked the skill in CB and now since it has been buffed its even nicer, it eliminates the idea of surprise off screen reflect, which can be a problem with skills like split arrow, it also has a very cool effect and when its leveled you can get quite a large area with quality too without using gems like "increased area of effect" it covers a good part of the screen.

It's personal preference mostly and on the other hand its also the fact that i wanted to make a build in CB to show people that physical damage can work and that RoA can work, that was the main point of this build.

I had an idea with puncture in CB, never got to doing it though, i noticed some unique have a "chance to flee mod", of course puncture does way more damage if enemies move, or flee :) (you see where im going).
Using a quality support "chance to flee" and 2 blackheart rings + chance to flee support (preferably at 20% quality for eve more chance) you can make enemies run almost at every shot while they are punctured, i reckon this would be VERY fun and it would do pretty massive damage.

But yes, you can use puncture with this build as a third attack for the laughs, it is a really fun skill!

Thanks for taking time to answer! I've switched to RoA now, I sort of saw it coming and have had all the gems needed sitting and leveling in my switch gear since early levels. It's working out way better for sure. Now I just need to find me some source of CC, or I'm gonna get Rhoa'd to death when I start A1 Mercyless. Hopefully temporal chains, like you suggested, will be enough. I'm actually missing some sort of reliant decoy to use. There's no way you can make a decoy totem survive long enough, right? or at least, that's my feeling.

yep you just have to level the decoy for it to become slightly better, unfotunately its been nerfed very hard since CB, but its still usable, you can also use zombies if you have enough int, those provide a decent meatshield against rhoas.

I'm also greatly interested in good farming/grinding maps. What map exactly do you suggest to farm in Act 3?
I found most of the maps being infested with dangerous/annoying mobs or with infernal layout.

I have now backtracked to Fellshrine in Act2 because I can get very good exp/hour rate and there is little to no chance to die.

Farm feelshrine and City of sarn until you feel like you can take on maps, i also suggest on running maps with a group, its much safer, more fun and slightly easier.

Right, you refer to City of Sarn as the first map when you enter Act3. I was a bit confused because Act3 itself is called City of Sarn too. :P

Now, City of Sarn is a map I would love to farm only if there was not that unique boss monster that throw bear traps on you. If I get caught by the trap, I'm 99% dead, which is not a very good considering 15% exp. penalty. The trap lasts long enough for him to throw another one on me before I can move away. It also almost kills me so unless I have 100% increased recovery on low life pot on me, I'm dead when 2nd trap hits me.
Oh, the trap can kill you even after the boss dies. It happened to me.

I will continue farming Fellshrine until 70 or so. I hope to get some gear with added life and resistances by that time to move deeper into Act3 maps.
