Supporter Pack upgrades, Raptr Q&A, upcoming Build of the Week season and new Passive Skills

Let me get this straight....you're BUFFING totems? Because they totally weren't ridiculously OP enough already.

they probably think that buffing melee/other builds will in effect nerf totems (relatively)

but truth is that totem builds already are not the most powerful builds (except lowlife rf stuff). they are the only build that combines: enough damage, highest survivability and highest mf AND reflect immunity in one package.

melee can have sick dmg, but is vulnerable to reflect and one-hit deaths, other spellcasters can have sick dmg and ranged-like-survivability but due to gear requirements cannot stack mf etc etc

totems need to a) cause reflect b) dont proc mf c) drain mana (reserve it or pay spell costs)

otherwise totembuilds/sporkers will remain the only builds capable of enough dmg/highest survivability/highest mf in one package

but it is all in vain anyway as given that totems are broken since like 0.9.6 (moment ive played it the first time - check kripp old movies about it, totems were broken in closed beta already!) nothing will change

Rory tells me "Some special effects of some of the Notables include increased totem placement speed, trap and mines are protected from damage for 5 seconds after being thrown, and your Mine detonation is instant". I'm looking forward to it!

I didn't realize traps and mines could take damage.

Return of the Nerf week, heys guys lets post good builds so GGG can destroy them. Just kidding on a serious note I hope that there are going to be some new builds and not just the same old builds done in a slightly different way.

someone mentioned above hoping for MF passives in skill tree.
hopefully someone notices this suggestion:

some sort of keystone for IIQ/IIR (perhaps one separate for each),
IIQ/IIR+50%-75%, all MF on gear is ignored or has half efficacy.
real drawback, real benefit.

if this was in the center of the tree, it would be somewhat available to every class.

or we could have a troll node.
immune to mf on gear, random mf flux from -200% to +200%.

MF was on the tree once. I'd wager a lot of money that it will never return, based on the commentary surrounding the decision to remove it.
Yay for Build of the Week!

I've missed the BOTW so much. It made people like faerwin and invalesco basically superstars of the Closed Beta, and rightfully so.

You are absolutely right. Invalesco's flicker build of the week was the number one reason I started playing PoE. I hope he comes back for release :o
OO instant mine detonation. Can't wait to try that out.

if i had the skill to come up with a build worthy of "build of the week" i would gladly accept it to be nerfed to the ground. not that i'm masochistic, i just know when some work is acknowledged.

glad the build of the week returns, very good decision.

Will we have a new set of weapons and armors for the scion that will be 1/3 about Str 1/3 about Dex and 1/3 about Int?
