Indeed, I sure the fuck don't want to play Path of Diablo 3

Stupid troll topic is stupid

You should read my edit. I am now the biggest supporter of AH in the game ;)
Spoiler
I changed my mind. I do want an AH. In its own separate league. It will be an RMT magnet, sort of like a sticky fly trap, to keep them away from the rest of the game :) *genius*

I want no ah. The problem with a global ah is: every not highend common item will be completly worthless. It happened in d3, it will happen here too.
No. I sure as hell don't want an Auction House in PoE.

It would broaden the market by too much, and make it way too easy to access all parts of it, which will in turn fasten up the progression, or even eliminate parts of it. Things will be worth less on a general basis, and it will enable players to progress through the game not by playing, but by flipping items "out of game".

An AH might have fared better in PoE than it did in D3, but Diablo-games aren't the kind of games where an auction house actually fits in with the rest of the game.

Besides, they have plans of streamlining trading without going complete AH about it.

This is already true here. Come up with a real disadvantage.

All an AH would do is let people stop wasting time spamming the trade spam channels and get back to fighting.

You are not wasting time, you are engaging the community to gain something you didn't otherwise have. This is significant, and I don't see how people cannot understand this.

But I can see your point. Why stop there though? If trading for something you don't have is a waste of time, why isn't grinding for something you didn't have also a waste of time? Let's eliminate that too, and add all uniques for sale by vendor. That way nobody has to waste time for anything.
