How to One Hit Piety(Merciless) as a (Fire) Mage.

Let me get this straight: You're Bear trap deals 570-798 physical damage. So let's say you'd deal 600 physical damage. Level 10 Added Fire Damage will add ~30% of the physical damage as fire damage. This would be 600 physical + 200 fire damage now, so 800 damage. Your Added Cold Damage gem adds 31-47 cold damage. ~60% are also added as fire damage due to cold to fire:
800+(40*0.6)+40 = 864 damage. As you say the damage is further increased by 70%.
864+(864*0.7)=1468 damage.

I'm sure I must be mistaken (kinda bad at math). But I dont know where the mistake is.

are you theorycrafting or do you have a video as proof?

I dont know how you can oneshot her ... level 23 bear trap is 5k max physical .... add around 3k from added fire and hatred ... and then another 2k or so from increases ... 10k damage, 5k of it being fire / cold .... with negative res to say -50 you are doing around 12-13k if it doesnt crit, and all damage roll has to be max range. You are saying you dont even need the burn, and didnt mention any crit.

What am i missing? Piety doesnt have 12k hp ...

i know convesion dmg is sick but you need alot of dmg to oneshot her

and if it really works i doubt it with such low lvl build in supports its a bug

I am 2 shotting her there.

In that video I dont use chance to ignite, I dont use hatred aura, I dont use the supreme truth unique, I dont crit either.

I am not one hitting her with a LvL 13 bear trap. But everybody can imagine what happens when I use my Level 20 Bear Trap...
+ chance to ignite + hatred + supreme truth etc.
