i'd probably go for the armor-based build for hc at lvl 89. before that i'd go for evasion.

What about removing those attack speed nodes near Finesse and use them on Shield nodes near blood pack?

after trying several other builds and classes this been as far the most fun for me.
I dont have a howl or eye but no hurry as I dont trade normally.
got the multistro(i)ke gem from quest, and wee it does a lot of difference.
currently lev 70 with only around 5k dmg with one gem for quality drops.

armor build plays much smoother. only problem i have is the low dmg because i dont find / craft any good claw. is it possible with alpha howl to run 3 auras?

Not possible, and you have to work up to running even 2. Once you have it working with about 120+ mana, you should be okay. A slower claw helps a bit, but I am running a 1.57 speed claw with 140 mana easily.
