Perz' Reave Shadow

Quick question about a glove upgrade:

Currently I'm using these low roll Maligaro's:



A few days ago I picked these up for cheap:



which have pretty good offensive stats (accuracy, IAS, and fire damage), and not the worst defense ever (gives me a few hundred more ES). However, even with the pretty darn good offensive stats, I see a 700 tooltip dps drop when unbuffed on reave.

Is the point of different gloves just to improve defenses? I just don't see how I can hope to improve my DPS with a different set of gloves (especially if I had a better rolled Maligaro's)

So i'm down 200 alchs so far alching ilvl 68+ top tier claws and rerolling every 5 with vendor, nothing that beats the 190pdps claw that I got from ledge runs...dafuq come on :( got a semi decent ele claw with 1.6aps but thats it(lucky to get a couple chaos when it sells)

Its really hard to find a good 300+ DPS Claw. Before you use 1000's of Alchs, spend your Orbs and buy a nice Claw.

@Perz:
1) I only have 85% Accuracy Rating but I think I need 95%+ or?
2) I use a 5L Carcass Jack (Reave, Faster Attacks, Multistrike, Melee DMG on full Life, Concentraded Effect) and my DMG is unbuffed ~18K. How much it will be with a 6L? And should i use Melee Physical DMG instead of Melee DMG on Full Life? If yes, why? Thank you! :)

1) no 85% is fine imo. max i'd go for would be 90%.
2) i can't tell but a 6l adds much dmg in general. no you shouldn't, because melee phys dmg has a higher mana multiplier.

craftin a claw can drive you mad. i'd not recomment it.

Changed a few things I thought was best and have to get a few nodes but I dont have any problems at all

yep gloves must have good es imo. your gloves look nice, i'd use them.

Doesn't need to be a 300+ dps claw, just something with atleast 250pdps. Which in Domination atm goes for 2-5 exalt depending on the other rolls (accuracy/crits etc) Probably should just buy one but I'm hoping to get lucky again =P (Honestly always used to find 250pdps claws on standard before patch 1.0 when I played alot and I was lucky to sell them for a chaos, now it's like they're caviar on a world without an ocean...Rare as balls and more expensive than it should be :( )

Also tip for people in early-mid game levels you could pick up a (lvl 35)(you can get one for a chaos or two max, I bought a perfect for a chaos in domination :P luckyme.) Just run a mele phys and faster attacks(or multistrike if you're lucky enough to get the currency at that level if you just start out) the Life on hit from the dagger and multistrike will carry you through with damage and lifesteal if you have mediocre life and res. I like a area of effect gem for lower levels too, hits more stuff for fast xp.(requires 4link). Will probably last you untill merciless ledge farming untill (hopefuly you find a new wepon in ledge XD )

Note: This is just a leveling tip that I like to use on most of my melee starting characters, some people prefer Facebreaker+Infernal Blow+Multistrike. Honestly personal preference.

Just attempting to get some late game gear going for this build here. Does anyone have some input on the easiest / cheapest way of optimizing gear to achieve 75% to all resists?

Just wanted to say thanks for this build, it's insanely fun and that's the highest dps I've ever had with a character. Currently level 68, 19k dps on reave, playing this character for some days in domination, levelling has been crazy fast, I've one shotted almost everything all the way (with Maligaro's, ungil then mightflay and dps dagger nodes over defense nodes). I haven't taken CI and Vaal Pact yet cause I went all dps first (which i usually never do, but for once I wanted to try), I'm gonna need to respec a lot to reach it soon.

My gear to farm Piety and 66 right now:



Yeah I need a lot of new gear, first a claw... But almost everything is self found, I'm not rich right now.

I've been lucky enough to 6s this carcass with 15 jewels and 6l it with 60 fusings.
