Don't use chain, it's not necessary. Do what the old CI Crit Lightning strikers used to do, use a high quality Lightning strike(gives its projectiles penetration..nomnomwut) and LMP for another couple projectiles, the aoe is fine. And Quality gems honestly aren't all that expensive these days, or hard to get(just takes some farming) if you were to do this,I would suggest leveling two lightning strikes, and run Pierce gem untill you have a lvl 20 gem, level it a bit and switch it out, quality the other and make some cash alongside it.

personally i dislike lightning strike. i wouldn't use it with this build either because i don't have any projectile bonuses. if you don't like reave (which i cannot understand) you could try double strike with melee splash.

Claw reave build saves you 2 gems : life leach and melee splash, which allows you to get 2 more damage gems, which compensate for the damage loss of using 1h and shield, which gets you a lot more survivability. I don't know what else to say.

what do you guys think about this claw? my friend told me to NPC it. :-(

Also, has anyone ever tried some more difficult bosses in the end game maps? such as dual piety, dual oversoul, and so on?

I would like to ask the same question, :-)

I have a feeling, evasion in this build is somehow "fake". Look at Perz's pictures, his ev is only 6963, and chance to evade is only 42%. Survivability is actually coming from the insane DPS, over 20% instant life leech, and 5k ES, maybe plus block rate. That's why I just simply grub a pure ES shield from my witch, and saved my currency for not buying a new EV/ES shield, and it works not bad. heehee...

nope. perz gets annoyed answering this all the time. :p You can only run two. If you're low on es, use discipline, if you have like 4-5k es use grace, or depending on what other people are running.

Also @Perz you don't need projectile bonuses for LStrike to do amazing dmg with it's projectiles, honestly requires the crits for shock stacks that this build may lack.

use it until you find a better claw.

atm i only have trouble against dominus. piety and vaal are no problem. although i don't play temple maps with ele weakness, lower res and multiple projectiles i.eg. don't have to risk it.

mostly i play with a friend. i run discipline + grace and he runs discipline + hatred. in the picture i illustrate this situaion.

i would run discipline all the time btw. switch between hatred and grace. the cool thing about hatred is that when you play ele reflect maps, the gems linked to cwdt proc all the time. same goes for phys reflect maps ofc. those mods are just the best for this build.

Do you reckon this could be done with BoR as lifebased?

This is my Nemesis/HC life based version of this build currently lvl 84



Changed a few things I thought was best and have to get a few nodes but I dont have any problems at all

My gear.





Currently 4.5k HP
14k armour buffed (without granite/jade flask)
22k single target dps
19k AoE dps with reave


So if yo u have any opinions or Questions I would be glad to hear just PM me ^^
