Perz' Reave Shadow

So, how does he run 3 auras? even with Alpha and reduced mana he would need more than 100% mana...

And would it be possible to play with Dream Fragments instead of Alphas howl? ofc you cant take 3 Auras then...
Hey

Currently doing life based in HC currently lvl 75 not really running into problems just the fact that i cant run 2 auras yet still leveling my reduced mana gem.. just changed the build in a few places aswell from OP suggestion of what the life based should look like

Doing maps and its really not that hard..yeah my dps isnt that high but hey I like playing with this build. Single target = 14k | AOE(reave)=8k o yeah duel wielding for now until i get better gear

cheers

love to try this build out is there a new setup gear for this with gem setup also
was checking it out was wondering what new updates have u done to this build also
could u give a new post updates of passives and gear setup for new patch build
would love to try this out looks great and fun to play

msg me back ty so much for posting this build
Does ondars guilde work with ironr eflex? If all the evasion goes to armor do u still dodge?
My current situation:

Single target dps: 13.000 (with bm and hatred on)
Reave: 8.000 (with bm and hatred on)
ES: 4.100 (with discipline

What can I do to get more DPS on my reave?

Dropped my ST ranger to try this build out with what little I had and I'm loving the massive cleave and clear speeds (second "real" character, if you can call it that). And about all the people going on about how gear dependent this build is, outside of a couple pieces, you can fly through the game pre-act 3 merc/map farm. I've been keeping up with this guide when it only had a few pages of comments, so why some are baffled as to why this build requires so much is beyond me.

That being said, I like how helpful people are being in this thread and how Perz pops in to help out as well =D. I've picked up some decent stuff with what I've scrapped together along the way and now I think I'm at the point where I need to either 5L/6L my Carcass Jack or acquire an Alpha's Howl.

With this setup I'm at 6k DPS, ~2500 ES, ~5500 evasion rating, res cap and 75% chill avoidance.

So now I have a few questions:
1) Would 5L/6L my Carcass Jack be worth it? I think I'd gain ~1500 dps if I stick in 'melee damage on full life', so it sounds like it should take priority.
2) Should I invest the rest I have into an Alpha's Howl right away? Is the mana reserved + freeze immunity really that good? I usually run a couple heat flasks and with the 75% chill avoidance I'm not considering it an amazing buy unless I'm not understanding something.
3) Which of these two should I do first? I have maybe 2 exalts to work with right now, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I really appreciate what you're doing with this build/thread Perz, and I can only hope others follow your footsteps with guides from now on. These builds don't need to be flashy as long as the information is good and it's followed up on =D.
18.9k dps now.
And just picked up

...going well. Some day, I'll get a godly claw :( lol
So glad I found this build. Sooooo superior to Bringer of Rain DW'ing build. The groups you can stand in..the crit'ing, the life leech, just love it.
Here is my reaver - gearing cost 20ex:
16k DPS full buffed (with IIR gem)
21k DPS full buffed (with increased crit dmg)
35% crit chance
3k8 ES
30% evade
40% block
Resist: 60-75-75
Running 2 aura.

I guess my final upgrade will be 6L carcass and better claw. I have huge INT and STR bonus from shield and Meginord so I can drop some bonus stat passive nodes :)
IMO, if you can not afford 6L carcass, try 6L EV/ES chest first, the damage bonus from 6th gem will be larger than 12% increased area damage.

we only run 2 out of the 3 auras possible. i currently like discipline+wrath. you could use dream fragments ofc but then you wouldn't reach chill immunity for one.

i don't really understand what you're saying. this build is 1.0 optimized, so you can just follow it as it is now.

thanks for the nice words and i'm glad you like this build as much as i do. these are some good items you have there but imo you should also try to get some accuracy rating every now and then. because there are some good items already, it's:
1) definatly worth at least 5 linking your carcass (chances are even higher now in 1.0 to get a 5l).
2) definatly yes. you don't only gain immunity to freeze but also to chill with the passives at a certain lvl (see the passive section). also it adds huge evasion and mana reserved. all-around it's just the best helm for this build.
3) i'm not really sure what to do first. but remember this: if you buy an alpha's howl, you are done already with that choice. if you try to 5l your armor, you can be lucky or not. so if you're unlucky the outcome of this choice might be zero. it's a matter of luck. :)

looking really good. imo your claw is exaltable. there are 3 (of 4) great mods on it, so you could exalts 2 other good mods if lucky (like attack speed, accuaracy rating, %phys dmg + accuracy rating, ..). check on a crafting table what's possible on it by checking the ilvl of the claw. also i agree you can also use a rare eva/es armor but those are sometimes much more expensive than a 6l carcass. ;)

modified the skill tree part a bit so that the build is even stronger now at lower levels. now we get ondar's guile sooner and the 100% chill and freeze avoidance can be reached earlier.
