exactly. for me this moment is approximatly at the end of act1 merc. after act1 i try to max out my es and go for ci so that i become immune to chaos dmg which is the major dmg class of act2.

No, I meant I understand waiting for the CI part, but why wait to get Ghost Reaver if your ES is greater than your HP? Is there a reason not to?

i think you don't understand me. i try to play life-based until act2 merc. shortly before act2 merc i change my equipment to be es based instead and then go for ci/ghost reaver. so the moment when my es becomes greater than my life is at the end of act1 merc and that's exactly when i change to ci.

I'm lvl 39 atm and I'm already playing on ES based and already took GR at the end of act 3 normal. I have 453 HP and 443 ES. It was the only option for me to kill Dominus solo. I died 2 times, one time is to blame on me since I was greedy. Still carrying around life flask to recover life but the benefit of ES really helps me to get along very well so far. Had way more trouble when going on HP instead. But maybe that's just me.

Was my first time being able to kill him solo without much trouble. Thanks a lot for the guide Perz! Hopefully it will stay like this until later :)

Yay looking forward to that! Well I'm good with the ES build for now (act 1 cruel). Or is there HP build way better? Don't think I would be able to switch now anyway :) Having no trouble against anything melee thanks to the ES eva. Just having (huge) issues against projectiles. Those have to die as soon as possible, or I do. Or I just have to dodge by myself.

My skilltree atm: Skill-Tree level 40
Getting VB and UC next.
Only using Hatred and Reave atm ~420 dps.

453 HP / 443 ES

Is there anything I can do against projectiles atm? Thanks :)
