Would really like to try this in Hardcore, are you too fragile or is there any other reason it might not be suitable?

I feel like I've hit a wall at a2 merciless and can only level if I party. I am dying very often if I try to solo nullifying any leveling effort.
I am lvl 61 and I am sitting at 1.1k ES, 880hp, 2.9k reave DPS with BR on, 75%LR, 35%FR, 50%CR. I respecced out of the ES/ES nodes + void barrier and put those in the six nodes that give claw damage + Eagle Talons. Is it expected to feel underpowered until VP/CI at this stage of the character? |

Long story short, i've had a CI/crit dagger shadow based on Invalesco's template, for a looong time.
Just switched to this build, and despite the changes to talent tree, i'm able to use all my old gear with a noticeable dps increase (lightning strike/ dual strike/ flicker strike). Sure i've lost some ES but thanks to the shield/ block talents, my old shadow feels more robust than ever. For reference, here's my gear: Gained about 3k dps, lots of evasion mainly due to the multiple dex nodes. Sitting at ~5k ES and ~700 mana (~130 with wrath and hatred), which still allows me to spam LS. Great build, very versatile. IGN: Cyanyx Last edited by Qmabyte#4414 on Oct 28, 2013, 1:16:39 PM

In your FAQ you say "vaal pact is the last route to take imo, somewhere in merciless. before that you want to take ci+ghost reaver approx. at the same time after act1 merciless, ..." Wouldn't you want to get Ghost Reaver as soon as your ES starts going higher than your HP? I'm new to this side of the passive tree.
