loving this character so far, really fun spec! although my dps seems really low. you said in FAQ 20k dps is fine for lvl 70... im 77 and only have 11k dps on Reave. whats the problem? i guess the rings are pretty bad.

5L is the biggest problem. 6L will be much better.

Nice build. Thanks for sharing. Just have one question: how do you manage to get 25% + life leech without using life leech gem? Weapon plus blood rage will be up to 10%+, but how can you get 25%+?

blood rage - 20%q ~16lvl - 10%
weapon - 3%
passives - right side of skill tree 3*4% life leech

10%+3%+12%=25%

Any tips on leveling as this build around A3 Cruel? I've been dying a lot since A2 Cruel even with max resists, and decent leveling gear. I think the lvl 64 skill tree Perz links is pretty ambitious, has almost no +ES nodes and no +life nodes (obviously), so my life/ES is pretty low, about 1200 combined life/ES. But with Blood Rage popped my shield never regens, the degen is pretty wicked. Any advice?

Just like any other CI build you will want to take some life nodes at first and spec out of them when you are ready to go CI. Here is what my tree looks like at 55. You get alot of respec tokens from quest but be sure to not take to many life nodes.

you are right. perz level 64 tree has more skill points than i had at level 64. I think maybe he was farther along. i didn't get the same number of skill points until I was level 67 (after completing bust quest in act 3).

don't bother with blood rage until you are CI, it's just too hard to manage since you'll be fairly low life before the switch to CI.

also, as deadmeat9 says, take lots of life before CI, and make sure and conserve your refund points !
you should have at least 12 by the time you get to merciless. use the refunds to get out of life and into CI.

also, i experimented with vaal pact a little _before_ i went CI and it works pretty damn well. so well, i was toying with the idea of staying life/ES.

you might want to try that and see if it helps.

also too- make sure you have really high leech and attack speed.

finally you are going to have a lot of problems without a good claw even in cruel. all of the leech keys off physical damage, so if you are not doing a lot of damage you'll find that the bosses kill you pretty easily.

i just went to CI a day or two ago, and it's my first CI toon.

also too. once you go CI watch out for getting frozen. it's really, really a problem. now i know why i never bothered with CI before. it's an expensive build.

quick question about generating power charges.

i've been trying out CwDT, ice spear, LMP, PCoC and it really doesn't seem to work very well. I very rarely have power charges up.

I was wondering if there were other strategies to try, other than the obvious linking PCoC to an attack.

I suspect that my crit chance is still too low (it's about 18%) and that's most of my problem.

what do most people have for a crit chance at that level ?
