ABOUT the NEW upcoming CLASS!!
a transforming type class... think druid d2
|
|
" Nah... Classes in POE dont have special powers, its only a different spot to start in the skildrasil but there could always be morphing Special nodes around that area |
|
" yea thats a good point didnt even think about that lol. anyways there could be nodes or skill gems that allow transforming. |
|
Place - Middle of the tree (we have a place for it already).
Stats - Str=Dex=Int Name for it - Monk\Warden Gender - doesn't matter, but compared to 'balance', it should be female. P.S. I'd love to see skill gems that gives you one 'permanent' pet, somekind of wolf\bear\boar\badger or something to train and love :) IGN: Zemeraya

A Hobo!
Said Hobo was caught sleeping under a nobleman's gilded carriage during a heavy rain storm. As it happens this hobo is a well rounded 'lass' that can take on any roll with little trouble. |
|
" WoW i like where this is going would love to play a hobo The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

A cyborg class - we need a fuckin robot in this game.

Swaggot
has nodes that increase snap back throwing attack speed, but a loss in evasion due to sagging pants. 'An open mind is like a Fortress with it's gates unbarred and unguarded'.

I believe the names of characters are what Dominus/"civilized people" called the exiles. Marauder and Witch are fairly obvious as being "bad". Ranger could be Oriathan slang for a poacher. Shadow could likewise be slang for an asssassin. Duelist is straightforward, since dueling outside of the arena is illegal and looked down upon.
The only character whose name doesn't imply any guilt is Templar, who is still referenced with some honor despite being set up by the higher-ups in his church. So for name, it should probably be somewhat negative, and should be somewhat specific as to their training/specialty. Nothing as vague as "Criminal" (though that is negative); nothing neutral/positive like "Blacksmith" (though that is specific). Strong stats have to be Str/Dex/Int, of course. (Hopefully GGG will bring back the tri-stat armor pieces alongside the class.) For gender, female to keep things balanced, but not overly important. Either is fine. For looks, she can't be overly burly, overly arcane, or overly lithe. A little bit of each, though. Muscled, unlike Witch, Shadow, or Ranger. Belongs to an order or has intrinsic powers, unlike Marauder, Duelist, or Ranger. Relaxed, flexible stance, unlike Marauder, Templar, or Witch. It should come off a bit like a Duelist (muscled, loose stance), but with a much darker past and some intrinsic trickery. Or a Templar (muscled, religious order), but less lawful. Or a Shadow (order of assassins, slippery), but more physical presence. To pick a decent backstory, possibly a revolutionary, exiled for crimes of a political nature. Very similar to Maramoa's crimes. Anyone can fit this role since it doesn't depend on being too much in one stat or another, and would require some proficiency in every stat. The Templar was also exiled for political crimes, but he tried to effect change publicly and was cast out before he could raise concerns to his brethren in the church. This new character would not be trying to make a change from within the system but instead from outside it. Should come from an urban background (like all the mixed-stat classes and unlike all the pure-stat classes). Could have been plotting to undermine military efforts, or to bomb the church, or to expose some bad goings-on in Oriath but was caught in the attempt. --- To pick a name that matches all of the above, she should be named "Saboteur". |

The guilt of the Templar is apparently blasphemy, which makes sense, but neither the name itself, nor to be honest Duelist or Ranger imply any guilt.
