Ambusher is the best base item for dagger for the same reason corsair sword is the best base item for a sword. To suggest otherwise makes you look like the idiot.
Kris type daggers are better for a spell dagger, but for any physical or elemental damage dagger; Ambusher is the best one because of its AS. The extra AS more than makes up for the slightly less crit. |

" sorry buddy, but if you played a class that would use this dagger, you would realize that its either platinum kris or demon dagger i chose plat kris due to highest base crit chance and high base phys dmg. yes, with the same rolls the ambusher might look like it has higher dps, but with crit factored in, it falls short. edit: not to mention that a 2.0 aps dagger would mean SERIOUS mana problems for a 6linked flicker "They... If you got a well crafted ambusher you're still gonna be oneshotting mobs solo or on small teams anyway, and the extra AS will help you take down bosses quicker. If you're on a large team, you won't be oneshotting shit anyway, which means the extra attack speed will allow you to kill a group in 1.5 secs instead of 2. Which one is better again?
