Flicker strike will soon be nerfed

I kind of always thought it was lame to bypass cool downs with multiple gems anyhow. Its not the same thing but its sort of like how you can't use multiple zombie gems to get tons of zombies. If you use a flicker or enduring cry and it on cooldown then is it really more fair to be able to use a different gem to keep going? If yes then why not more zombies?

im not sure about fair.

"At least people doing this can't have all the gems supported as effectively as if just using one."

this was the sentence that sort of lead me to believe it was fair.

to have an extra gem, ull need to give up a socket for that gem, if you want that gem to be as strong as the other gem, that gem itself requires the same support and link and so ur wasting even more gem slot.

The zombies comparison fails for many reasons, the most important being that there are uniques adding zombies / spectres + passive points,so you can literally have an army of em already.

In comparison, there is only 1 passive that gives you 1 extra trap.

The game was designed to have a bunch of minions regardless. Did the devs intend for trap spam?

So with the new patch notes stating that we can no longer stack gems means you can no longer stack 4x flicker strike and just rotate through them bypassing the cooldown. (This is especially more efficient to use with frenzy charges as you get to retain more charges for longer before having to consume them for more hits.)

I personally think that a flicker strike was the ultimate pvp build even surpassing facebreakers and righteous fire.

This patch to "balance" pvp it seems (atleast to me anyways) was to nerf the strongest pvp build there was.

It was also to stop people using multiple enduring cry allowing them permanent immortal call, but my build being nerfed is more important!

Its not a nerf its a fix.
