Flicker strike will soon be nerfed

I hate to be 'that guy' but it was hinted a few times that this work-around wouldn't work-around forever. I too have a triple Flicker-gemmer but to be honest frenzy+blood rage with the necessary countermeasures is far more efficient.

Flicker Strike won't be nerfed any further -- it already got the big old stop-acting-like-you're-all-that whack from the humbling stick in the form of a cooldown, but the implementation of frenzy charges bypassing said cooldown was really quite clever. Read the description of the skill sometime, the actual prose passage on the site. It fits perfectly.

One way or another, we simply weren't meant to do multiple flicker strikes (beyond multistrike, of course) without some sort of frenzy-based cost.

Few things;
First Welcome Charan, its an honor to be in your presence.

I have read the skill description, it reads as a finishing move to be used to turn the tide of battle midway through a though initial duel.

I've also read the thread on the skill itself reviewing feedback from when it was first introduced to present.

It was easy mode and so thats why the cooldown was introduced.

But this this isn't overpowered, not even in pvp (1 molten shell could easily defeat a flicker) and not OP in pve either.

To achieve my build i require 4 4links. flicker, splash, melee dmg, bloodmag.
So thats sacrificing 16 gem slot just to make it work.

It wasnt really an exploit, it wasnt even that strong and is quite expensive to build, plus being melee in HC/ONS i die alot.

Im just abit sad that my main build is gone.

I didn't even know you could use multiple flickers. I never run out of frenzy charges on my 2h-flicker-striker even if I'm doing maps or something, after I 1 shot the first group from there on out it's just easymode.



Ya'll are doing something terrible wrong if you need multiple flickers ?.?

my 2hder will beat your 2hder in pvp because u wont gain any frenzy charges unless u kill me in pvp by which then its pointless.

Btw i have 2 flicker marauders.
1 who has 7 frenzy charges and i still use 4 flickers to increase efficiency with blood rage who i use to farm.

Another 1 who does not use blood rage who im building for pvp in mind.
He is a simple high regen no charges 4flickerstrike.

I have a physical cleave duelist with multistrike, and with 2100 HP I farm maps easier than with other builds. Is the better build i have even try.

This has nothing to do with multistrike.

Also i dont like kripp so please dont mention his name here, i arrived at that conclusion before his horde of minions screamed it everywhere because its an obvious fact. not saying it doesnt work but its just less effective.

This is about me losing my favourite pvp build that i spent the last 8 months trying to perfect.

Rephrase your last sentence: this is about you losing a mechanic which was never intended to work like this.

People have to accept the fact that this is beta and a lot of things are changing and are going to change. If it includes their favourite builds then it does. Get used to it.

Also think about it: if your build wasnt considered OP before, you did something wrong. Endless flickering does too much dmg. You must sacrifice something to support it which is charges right now. It could be much worse dude if they decided to remove the charge consumption as well.
And btw I am a fan of desynch strike because it's much fun, but still you gotta accept changes if you knew sthg worked differently than intended and was likely to change or if sthg was clearly OP.

I've always found it tedious to use multiple versions of a skill that this patch suits me.To be honest I prefer D2 style of going through skills via F keys and just using mouse keys to execute.

in late pvp its quite strong but not in the top tier.

Your right, this is beta and things are subjected to change.

But tell me how you would feel if your favourite build and the whole reason your farming gear (this ultimate pvp char for me, im not sure about your reasons for playing) and playing the game itself was going to change not to be less effective but unplayable altogether.
