You are making it REALLY fucking hard to make me want to play
" You chose to read it? I put it in a spoiler, and I don't really see how you consider that a "threat" I'm simply letting you know that if you don't feel like reading another rage/rant topic, then you can click away from the topic there. Hey, I thought it was the nice thing to do, apparently not. Whining, rants, whatever you want to call it mate. Is this not the beta feedback forum, or am I mistaken? Sure, it's not quite the proper way to give feedback on a game, but feedback is still FEEDBACK no matter how it's written, or worded. You could of stopped reading after you read my warning about what you were about to read. YOU chose to keep reading..not my fault mate! Sorry you didn't enjoy it! Toodles. Maps are still broken, btw. |

" Don't tell people to leave, they usually not come back. And pls explain to me why do you think that anything would change after the official launch. I've never seen GGG talking about changing the drop rates, have you? "Yes, it is perfectly fair. It just sucks ass."

" Stay as long as you like, it is normal to post frustration on the forums even after yuo are so fed up with the game you no longer play. I dont play at all anymore but these forums are still fun sometimes, but even they seem to be dying, seems like less and less activity all the time. You are right this a feedback forum and all of your complaints are valid, lots of other players feel the exact same way, brush off the haters here, they are not even good beta testers. All they seem to do is go into every feedback thread and down play any ones issues. I have realized that this game and this community will never be get to a point that I can be apart of it. This game had potential but at this point I dont ever think it will be realized. No effort has been made to fix the glaring issues people like you have been complaining about for months. This game is balanced like shit and they dont know how to fix it. | |
Well stated mate.
Like I said, any feedback is still feedback. Does it matter how I type/word it? Until the content is fixed and the mechanics, I'm going to keep posting at will. That's what this forum is for. If everyone just agreed "oh hey this is the best game ever, no problems at all!" how far do you think the game could really develop? GGG needs to understand the frustrations of the current beta players, and act upon it. |

" It does matter how you word it, assuming you want that thoughts you express to actually be read and considered by the developers. If all you want is to scream and yell, you can do that in your own home perfectly well. General rule - less cursing, it makes you appear belligerent and childish. I think the RNG in this game is destroying it, or at least destroying it's potential to become the game we all (old time Diablo players I guess is what I mean by 'we') expected it to be. GGG has decided to make this a grind-fest with forced teaming and trading, I never teamed in D2 or traded, still got through/into Hell a few times. Not sure why that is such a hard thing for GGG to grasp. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers." -GGG Happy hunting/fishing Last edited by Wittgenstein#0994 on Aug 25, 2013, 11:40:41 AM

This is how you play without driving yourself nuts on maps:
#1. DON'T try/or care to level much past 80. Not caring is the best thing when my level 80 MF spork dies in a map. My attitude is, uh, I'm level 80 and I'm not even trying to level anymore. #2. DON'T ever, I repeat EVER burn chaos orbs or chisels on maps. Sell those, or trade them for level 66-69 maps. #3. Run 66-69 maps and roll them with transmutes/augments/alts. Aim for easy mods like chaos dmg per sec + totems in the map for a decent quantity bonus. Or if you're high MF, roll dual boss maps + one other easy mod. #4. If buy the one in no telling how many hundred odds you find a level 70+ map by running 68, 69 maps, sell or trade those for 69 maps. #5. Wait till they add more content to the game before leveling up. The fact of the matter is when you get to level 80 you've beaten all the game's challenges and there isn't really anything to do but farm. You don't need to run 75+ maps to farm gear. You can find the best unique drops in lunaris 3, and don't even need to map. I figured out a long time ago that high level map content isn't sustainable. You can sustain level 66=69 maps, or at least run maps and be able to afford to buy more once they dry up. Nobody can say that about level 75+ maps. That being the case, simply DON'T run them. I don't even care about ilvl 75+ crafting gear, because you DON'T need it to win at this game. This is all I need to win at PoE on my facebreaker. I got NO plans on improving on any of that gear. Why? Because I already steamroll ANYTHING. Dual brutus + vulnerability, face tanked/pwnt them both. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Aug 25, 2013, 12:18:19 PM

Fantastic post! I never play maps as I always reroll characters. But I just don't understand why GGG makes map drops such a big fucking deal. Why don't they want people to stick around after they have finished the limited current content? Shit, make some decent fucking maps readily available and keep your customers happy. Get a fucking clue GGG. Lmao.
