How many fusing you using when make 6 link your item?

friend of mine just spent 2200+ and finally got it. 55ex+ on fuse sc league. chest probably worth only half that.

i spent 174 fuse, was aiming for 5l

I've used well over 6000 fusings on 2 6S chests and I never 6 linked either one.

The only two items I've 6 linked, both came in 3 fusings. Every other item I've linked, I stopped at 5L.

However, the one and only time I ever set out to 6 link, was one of those 2.

65 Jewellers for 6S
38 Fuse for 6L
2 Divines and I'm happy.

Here's a question: Do you think it's overall less expensive to Q20 an item and fuse it to reach 6L? Have there been any stats released on how adding quality to an item increases the odds of a high link?

Because if it doubles the odds blowing an extra Chaos every 20 attempts isn't that bad.

I did however just blow 330 fusing on a failed attempt to 6L a chest... got 4x 5L in the process...

Used 1480 Fusing to 6L
