As for the questions.. I would say when you are able to link a Blood Magic to Flicker Strike(which should be after you get the blood dance). There is no rush though, those items can easily last you until you step up from Fellshrine, act 2 merciless.

I will not recommend blood magic until you have decent 2-hd wp ( dps ~ 290+ ) and 5S 5L wp is a must if you want to run this build.
This is how I setup my duelist flickerstrike : FlickerStrike - Multi - Add fire damage - Melee Splash - Melee PS damage. Have tried with and without blood magic, With blood magic then I have to sacrifice a large amount of damage from add fire damage so It will take longer to kill a group of mob ( in dock atm ) - Not recommend. Flickerstrike means fastest cleaning speed .
Also, blood dance is a must again. Flickerstrike without blood dance is OK in normal and cruel but not in merciless ( - 60% resit ).

First of all i have to admit that i made my FS to check if its really that fun aaaaand... its even better then i expected :D
Getting your FS rock is hell of a cheap task :P all i needed was basicly 3 uniqs from which 2 was mightflyes and one blood dances i already had :D

And for those who are asking where to start... as soon as possible! You will get used to its mechanics, to not panic when charges are gone etc.
Last night i finally got my hands on multistrike and boy - that makes wanders! No more do i have to constantly double check if my charges are going to be enought for the hard pack in front or for a boss :) Rightclick your FS and just keep your granite up :D
So far i was building it kinda glasscanony as i dont mind dying, why? becouse killspeed is so insane that i get all of xp back in no-time :D
It might get frustrating when blue packof pirates at allflame (a1 side q) kills you instantly but so rewarding when its you FS the shit outta them! :D

As for the Apple - one q, why not taking the awesome group of att speed near scion? Is it just simply overdo? be4 yday i thought that making big hits> faster attacks, but when i switched my haste aura up on top of hatred.... pew pew started to get insane (98% mana reserves prevents you to cast blood rage off mana, BM it or just be causious not to loose it!).
Also I added inc dur on Blood rage as sometimes in between mobs it would turn off and this way its sth that you can stop thinking about - blood rage is there - believe me :D

And for the lolz few items to discuss:


It might seem silly but it adds reaaaaally nice dmg boost, and its "no leach on low life" is manageble with


Another one:

Chestpiece adding dmg - what more could you wish for, running speed maybe? - it gots it as well :D Did i mentioned glasscanony of that build? currently lvl 54 plaughing throught act 2 merci.

and sth on top of all:

great for early lvls when you run your FS off mana :) can be utilized for some of you with higher ES, but nevertheless its mostly for CI builds, been using it succesfully tho early on.

Its getting kinda long so wrapping things up -

One more thing i forgot to mention - if you are paying attention to what you are doing - you can run FS off your health as soon as you can go blood rage + FS+LoGH, your hp will easly sustain it (went this way by my 20s still in normal - been using it all the time now:P). Also Mana leach for cyclone on top of LL and LoGH helps you cyclone w/o worrying about you stopping in the mid of mobs :)

So I sent your a PM about my problem, that's the only way i found to link you what was needed to be linked.

After my FlickerScion died I dried a few other builds but nothing was fun, so I want a new FlickerStricker, maybe something different, may a CI Crit-Claw-Flicker, but I've no good CI gear.

The problem is, if your damage is not high enought to kill, you ran out of charges, especially in HC where you need more defense.
So whats the best way to get new charges without killing?

My be Terminus Est: "Gain a frenzy charge on critical strike"
I thought it should be possible to get a crit chance about 30-40% and then with Multistrike gain enought charges but it didn't work. ("Critical hits are rolled once for all three strikes" and you never get more than one charge even if all 3 hits crit, so fuck that)

But what about spells, so I linked 4 IceSpears with GMP to CwDT and yes, Its possible to gain a few frenzy charges with that.

My problem is, It doesn't proc enought and don't hit and crit every time, I can't make it viable atm, any suggestions, may 4 more IceSpears, but I need the sockets for other skills...



I'm lvl 53, it should proc more often in endgame

The problem is, multiple instances of same skill don't work on CwDT, so even with 4 IceSpears on 2 pieces of gear, only 1 gets trigget, seems randomly, :( don't know if that is intended...

you want a dagger to flicker and a critrate of 95% imo.
soultaker is a nice weapon but not for flicker imo.

watched your dominus video. your dps is too low to makeflicker realy work.

Is this build also viable with the new Soul Taker? Cant afford a legacy @tm. Im searching for a new build for my alt and maybe I've found some cool one here :P

You've got a wasted passive point below in your skill tree. Should you take the one below Iron Reflex instead of going around under... Might want to check that out. Otherwise looks good.

Why I'm not getting Berserking? It's four points away, and I feel like I need to sacrifice some health nodes or physical damage nodes to get to that point. Plus, even though the biggie gives 15%, the total attack speed you get from those 4 points is 21, giving you only a mere 5% per point. I'd even prefer to take the beginning points from the duelist right side(4 points = 10% attack speed and 24% phys damage). The point itself is good, but it's just not worth getting to that point :)

Actually, if you link multiple ice spears to one CwDT, it can attack multiple times. Since you don't need the lmp/gmp for more charges(no matter how many projectiles, you can only get one charge per skillcast), setting up multiple vanilla ice shots should wield you some charges...I'd say.

I disagree. While I agree that critstrike can deal so much more damage, It's also far more unstable - you can one shot yourself, have less points to spend in defenses, well, I already explained this in the FAQ 2nd post :)
Well, Both have their advantages and disadvantages. This might not be killing dominus in less then 10 seconds, but it feels more like an all round character to play imo.
